South Town 2

South Town 2 is the sequel to South Town, a Japanese Room Escape game released last summer.

South Town 2 looks really great, includes a nice tutorial for all people who are not familiar with how to play a Room Escape game, but the language barrier could be an issue in this one.

Select the first option to play the game (click the second option for tutorial).

The server is quite busy at the time of writing: if you get an error message, try again and reload the page.

    1. take radio on the table. take batteries out of the radio
    2. put the batteries on the device on the right of the window. 3 places unlocked.
    3. take the knife on the shelf
    4. take the slipper on the upper cupboard
    5. cut (with the knife – drag and drop) the rope on the chair. take the hat
    6. take the gift on the table, open it, take the pistol. check the pistol – it’s a lighter.
    7. read the book on the table – there is a page number, remember it
    8. open the blue box at the bottom right – get the fish
    9. put the fish on the red stove. light it with the lighter
    10. heavy smoke…check the window, the fish will be taken by the cat.
    11. check the green patch over the window, there’s a room number, remember it
    12. put the hat over the water tap
    get 10L of water
    13. pour it over the tank on the left – a bottle is floated, take it and put it back to the case with similar bottle
    14. hit the TV with the slipper, click on the screen – o come on…the light cuts off….but wait!!!what’s happening on the table?
    15. take the thing that comes out – take the bottle down from the statue.
    16. click the electricity box over the door, turn the light back on.
    17. put the bottle back to the bottle case (the japanese word pronounced as “sa””si””su””se””soh”, fyr)
    18. take the toolbox, take the screwdriver inside.
    19. remember the room number outside the window and the page number of the book on the table? dial it just like dialing the very old school phone over the oven. (tried, no difference whether you put the room number or the page number first)
    20. take the spade in the oven
    21. open the microwave with the spade. use screwdriver on the plate
    22. use the plate on the door (near the knob), and you’ll get the key
    23. unlock the fridge, click on the bottles…FINISHED!!!

    Walkthough

    Show

    Pick up parcel on the table. Do an about item, unwrap it and get the gun, then do another about item on the gun, you will see it turn into a lighter.

    Pick up radio on the table. Do about item and get batteries from the radio. Put the batteries in the white panel on the right hand wall.

    [spoiler]Drag the knife to the hat and cut the rope and take the hat. Drag the hat to the sink and fill it with water then pour the water into the fish tank on the left and take the bottle that floats to the top.

    Use the slipper to hit the tv, once it is on click on it, the spotlight comes on. Click the spot on the table and get statue with bottle on the top. Do about item on the statue then click on it, it will disappear leaving you with the bottle.

    Drag both the bottles to the shelf. It will close leaving you with a green box. Open the box and get a screwdriver

    Drag the fish over to the red oven. Place it on the grill then use the gun lighter to light it. When it’s burning click on the window behind to open it and a cat will come and take the fish. Click on the green square seen through the window and you will get a room number (515)

    Click on the book on the table and you will get another number (226)

    Use the two numbers on the two sets of dials (doesn’t matter what order) and get the spade from the oven

    Use the spade to open the microwave then use the screwdriver on the plate that appears on the door. Take the plate

    Use the plate on the door. An alien will appear and give you a key. Open the fridge and click on the bottles. The alien will come and sit at the table and start cleainng. Click on the alien again and it will wave what looks like a fishing rod or whip around and you are out

    Talk about going to the grocery store to buy a couch: it’s a friggin’ KITCHEN, for crying out loud. Are you telling me that there’s no bowl or cup or pan or something more suitable than a hat (!!!) to use as a water container?

    by the way, sleepydragon, it’s not a alien, but a Kappa, a legendary japanese seacreature who likes to lead stupid people in to his livingplace to eat them… And this story says they drank beer together? Hmm… right…
