Escape of Yellow Door

Escape of Yellow Door is a new Japanese Room Escape game by the author of Escape of Blue Door and Cinderella Escape. The game is available in both Japanese and English. Search for items, combine some of them and eventually find the key to open the yellow door! Have fun!

So far, I’ve got: Show

bag of sand (used), scissors (used), screwdriver (used x3), green gem (used), blue gem (used), paper (now with sand on it)

green gem: Show

Use the screwdriver to get the green gem from the coffin.
Put the green gem into the Sphinx to get the blue gem and light his eyes.
Turn off the lights, see a code on the pyramid.

Pyramid code: Show

Each 2 adjacent numbers add to make the number above them. Therefore, square = 8, triangle = 7, circle = 3.

blue gem: Show

Put the blue gem into the Sphinx and make him fart!
Put the paper into the air and it’ll blow off the excess sand leaving a code: circle-square-circle-triangle-triangle-circle.
This means: 383773 = Code to open the pyramid.

Now I died. Bad End… :-(

I can’t walk into the pyramid without falling into the hole. I tried to turn the Sphyinx’s light on again, but it didn’t light inside the pyramid. :-(

Put the blue stone into the coffin’s right eye and you can open the coffin to get a mirror.

Ok… In the pyramid…
1st right: Show

a stand? you can hang the flashlight over it. I died before I tested this, but… maybe we can put the mirror on the stand and redirect the flashlight’s beam?

1st left: Show

cut the portrait’s string to get a hint: moon*square/2 = moon*4. Maybe the 4th phase of the moon?

2nd right: Show

“Don’t touch the treasure” really means it!

the moon is just a symbol of the calendar you find when you click in the back of the picture. The codes relate to months, so work out the number of the month for each box then enter the month names as the codes.

Red box Show

comes from red stand- circle=3 (from previous code for getting into pyramid). Third month is March.

Blue box Show

comes from behind blue stand with treasure on – triangle-2 (7-2)=5.
5th Month is May

Green box Show

comes from code on green background when you cut down picture – square divided by 2 (8/2) = 4. Fourth month is April

do about item on flashlight, click near string at the end and it will turn over with and when turned on with have a blue light instead of normal light.
Go out of pyramid and turn light off then shine flashlight on the box.

Walkthrough
Show

Pick up bag from first screen. Turn right

Show

Click between paws of the sphinx and pick up screwdriver. Turn right again

Click towards bottom right of the pyramid and use screwdriver to undo panel. Take scissors. Come back out to main screen.

Show

Click on left side of the pyramid and unscrew panel to reveal code for entering the pyramid. While on that screen click up and get the flashlight. Come out back to main screen and turn right again

Use screwdriver on right eye of the coffin. Remove jewel. Click to the right of the box and pick up the paper.

Do about item on the bag and use scissors to open the bag. Then do about item on paper and use the bag with it. You now have a piece of paper covered in sand.

Go left twice back to the sphinx. Put the jewel from the coffin’s eye into the hole in the head of the sphinx. Take the blue jewel from the tongue of the sphinx and note there is a light shining from the head of the sphinx.

Turn left once and turn off the light, then right twice to highlight the code on the pyramid. The code works by adding the two numbers under the previous number to make a total. So 50 =20+30, 17 + 13 = 30. 13+ triangle = 20 so triangle = 7 etc. So code is Triangle = 7, Square = 8 and circle =3.

Go back to first screen and turn light on. Then go back to sphinx and take first jewel out of it’s head and put in second jewel. The sphinx then passes gas out of it’s bottom. Use the sanded paper on the gas to get the number order for the code. Circle, square, circle, triangle, triangle, circle. So code is 383773. Go back to panel on pyramid and enter code.

Take the jewel out of the head of the sphinx and put it in the empty eye socket of the coffin and take the mirror.

The pyramid is now open. Before you enter the pyramid make sure you have turned on the flashlight.

Once in the pyramid turn left so you see a portrait on the wall. Use the scissors to cut down the portrait. You will see a green panel with an equation of square divided by 2. Square = 8 (as learnt from previous code) so 8/2 = 4. Click on the bottom left of the picture which will turn over showing that the symbol for the moon represents a calendar. So now you know that the numbers in the pyramid relate to the months of the year, and that green = 4th month which is April.

Come out of that screen into corridor then turn right. Hang the flashlight on the hook on the wall and place the mirror on the red stand. Click where the light is reflected and note that red = Circle = 3. So red = 3rd Month which is March. Go back to main screen and pick up the mirror and the flashlight

Head further down the corridor and turn left. You will see a stand with a jewel on it. It says Don’t touch the treasure. So…. DON’T TOUCH THE TREASURE!!! If you do you will die and have to start again.
Click to the right of the statue and you will see a gap. Put the mirror in the gap and you will see the equation blue = triangle-2. You now have your final month. Triangle -2 = 5 so blue = May.

Go back twice till you are in the corridor again and then click right. In front of you are three boxes, red, green and blue. Enter the months in the right boxes and get a ring, a pair of earings and a shoe. You are now done with the pyramid, so come out and close it behind you.

Turn right to screen with the coffin and box. Take the jewel out of the eye and replace with original jewel. Turn right to get to screen with door. Do about item on the flashlight and click near the end with the string. This will turn the flashlight over and when you turn it on you will now have a blue light. Turn the main light in the room off.

Go back to the room with the box and you will see the box is now highlighted with three symbols – Foot, ear and hand. This is the order to place the objects on the box. Go back and turn the light back on.

Place the items on the box in the right order (shoe, earring and ring) and press ok. The box will open giving you a ticket to heaven.

Take the ticket back to the woman near the door, replacing the jewel in the eye of the sphinx as you go. Give the ticket to the woman then take the jewel she gives you and put it in the door. Press on the door and you are out.

I have only managed to get a good end by doing it this way, would be interested to see if anyone can work out how to get a perfect end.
