    in the book figure which ‘part’ of the cupboard hit with the hammer, the hammer is in one of the locked drawers, hit the lower left ‘part’, then you get the red ball :P

    I would like to know how the color combination was found. Thanks to everyone who helped, but I’m stubborn and feel I learn nothing if I don’t know how it was done.

    I saw the hint but it still didn’t lead me to putting the color balls in that order?

    find keys under furniture, need keys to open drawers to get items to get some of the balls and need to solve picutre of pig (note paper shows where one ball is hidden

    It can be hard to look behind/under some furniture so keep clicking.

    when you find the balls then you go to the wine glasses and compare the hidden letters with this to find the order of the balls

    Then you can rearrange the panel Show

    to make all the lines touch so all turn yellow, this gives you the numbers for the door.

    Walkthrough:

    It’s a rainy Saturday afternoon and you’re looking forward to spending an evening with friends, perhaps stealing a few hours with a special someone late. You see an open door leading to a room with extraordinarily smooth beige walls.

    These are walls unlike any you’ve ever seen. Not a seam to be spotted. Quality befitting a master craftsman. Donald Trump himself would be proud to call these tiled walls part of his home.

    But you have to pass the room by, because your friends are waiting. Thelma, Daphne and Scooby wouldn’t understand. Besides, you know they’ll be more than happy to return with you in the morning.

    Hours later, you find yourself back at the doorway, ready to begin your 105th adventure. You enter, and the door locks behind you. You quickly realize you need to discover a four-digit combination in order to escape.

    Scooby makes the first discovery, sniffing out a video screen against the wall. You look closer, and see a 9×3 grid above four holes. No problem, you say to your friends. Just find four colored balls to place in those holes and the combination you seek will quickly become evident.

    Daphne, ever the curious girl, picks up a small book on the floor. There you find a 2×3 grid with an X in the bottom left position. That could be a clue for deciphering the video screen. And there’s an orange animal that has gills, very tiny legs and a giant round mouth. Steam is coming from his mouth, indicating he has just eaten something very unpleasant.

    You turn to the right and see a bed. On the floor just right of the bed, you pick up a Bowl of Ramen. Daphne turns green and faints. This ramen smells like it’s weeks past its prime. You leave Daphne resting comfortably on the bed and make a mental note to help her get out later.

    You see a spot on the ceiling above the left side of the bed. You wonder if you’ll need to find another medieval weapon to touch that spot and discover if anything lies within.

    The back left bedpost looks a little strange as well. Daphne runs over and grabs a Yellow Ball. So that’s one of the four balls you’ll need. Scooby sniffs out a spot under the bed on the left side, and you reach down and pull out the Red Key.

    Underneath the bed on the right side, you see a Green Ball caught in the mattress. Strangely, you can’t pull the ball out. You’ll need a knife or a very sharp object.

    You go to the left, and Thelma is instantly quite excited. There’s a bookshelf with nine glasses filled with what looks like nine different colored wines. You write down the colors, just in case they come in handy:

    Pink, White, Dark Blue.
    Black, Red, Green.
    Light Blue, Yellow, Purple.

    Thelma spends the next hour trying to drink the wine, but can’t get any closer. She’s quite disappointed.

    Behind the bookshelf on the left side you find a Blue Ball.

    There’s a dresser with three locked drawers next to the bookshelf. That’s where the keys go. You use the Red Key to open a drawer and find a Hammer and a second Bowl of Ramen.

    Gagging, you get a better look at the ramen. It has a dark, congealed sauce – you can’t even see the noodles underneath. There are a few hardened vegetables of undetermined origin floating on top, as well as what looks to be a bar of chocolate someone added as a sick joke. You offer the ramen to Scooby, who will eat anything. Well, not quite anything, you discover.

    Now, what to hit with the hammer? You hand it to Thelma, who seems anxious to hit everything in sight, even the comatose Daphne.

    You turn to the right and see a tall row of shelves next to a table. You grab a third Bowl of Ramen from a shelf under the table. Scooby growls, and points out an area underneath the table, presumably to bury the offending ramen, because there’s nothing else of interest there.

    On top of the table, you find a tile box. It’s time to assemble the orange animal. Not much to this puzzle, you have it assembled and open within seconds. And that gives you the Yellow Key.

    You find the Blue Key behind the tall shelves on the left side. The higher shelves are arranged in a 2×3 grid, just like the picture in the book. You take the Hammer from Thelma and give the bottom left shelf a whack, where the X was. There you find the Red Ball.

    You turn to the left, and unlock the blue drawer. There you find Binoculars and a fourth Bowl of Ramen. You start humming a ’60s song from The Hollies, the one that cute blond girl sang on American Idol this spring, but didn’t fare so well. Rottin’ Ramen, Tweet Tweet.

    The Yellow Key gives you a pair of Nippers and the fifth Bowl of Ramen.

    You turn to the left, go under the bed on the right side again, and use the Nippers to cut away some mesh. You then grab the Green Ball.

    Using the Binoculars, you zoom in on the spot on the ceiling, where you see the word TOLT written in block letters, the first T is on its side. Perhaps this will help you with the 3×3 grid of wine glasses.

    You move to the left again, and look at the video screen. Thinking of the figures you discovered with the binoculars, you try and determine an order for the colored balls based on the wine glasses.

    Scooby gives you the idea that where the figure ends determines the color used. So the sideways T ends at the green-colored wine glass, the O circles the red-colored glass, the upright T ends at the yellow-colored glass. That leaves the L and what must be the dark blue glass in the third position.

    You try the balls in that order: green, red, blue, yellow, and the 9×3 grid turns into a tile puzzle.

    Thelma gives you a funny look, and you admit the ball order puzzle was a bit silly. But it worked. Yeah, I’m sticking to that story.

    You click on the tiles, turning the path yellow. This one is fairly simply. Once the path is completely yellow, you see a four-digit code illuminated on the grid.

    You try the code, 4623, in the combination lock, and the lock clicks.

    Daphne, looking more than a little dazed, joins you and the gang. You open the door and exit the room.

    Once outside the room, you quickly find a doctor for Daphne. The doctor takes one look at the ramen and calls Homeland Security. You’re placed in quarantine for the next week, which should give you enough time to prepare for your next adventure.

    I think you’re Fred, and I’m Shaggy, b/c I made that joke about giving the cruddy ramen to a college kid. Also I’m a high school senior and have never had a girlfriend, so I’m definitely not Fred.

    Thanks for the laughs, Anemic!

    However, what I saw through Show

    the binoculars didn’t much resemble what you describe. I saw a sideways T (stem to the west), a plus sign, a 7 (or L turned 180 degrees), and an upside-down T. I superimposed these shapes in turn on the shelf of wineglasses, and the only “constant” I could see was that the intersections (where the stem meets the crossbar of the Ts, for example) were all over glasses filled with a liquid matching one of the balls.

    In other words: ignore all the wineglasses that aren’t filled with red, yellow, (dark) blue, or green liquid. Then the shelves are:
    x x B
    x R G
    x Y x
    If you put (say) a plus sign over this grid, it intersects over the R, so the second position (which is where the plus sign is on the ceiling) must be the red ball. Do this for all four shapes, and you get the order noted above: green, red, blue, yellow.

    This is the first and ONLY ONE of Parallelove series that I could finish all by myself! I enjoyed the moving tiles!
