Walkthrough:
It’s an unseasonably warm August Saturday. One of those miserable days when the wind isn’t blowing and the air is as stale as yesterday’s New York Times Op-Ed page. The National Weather Service has issued a “screw it, it isn’t worth going outside” alert.
Suddenly, you hear the word “attemperation” as you pass an open door. You think to yourself, “that can’t possibly be a real word – obviously Jesse Jackson has been here, and is practicing a speech inside. But you look at your trusty Netbook, and find that attemperation is, indeed, a word. Not only that, it refers to the regulation of the temperature of a substance.
That’s good enough for you, and you decide to head inside, because the idea that August can be regulated is very appealing.
You find yourself inside a room with dark gray linen wallpaper, the kind they often use to line the walls of those office buildings built in the ’70s on budgets smaller than what you covered on your paper route in the ninth grade.
The door locks; you’re on your 104th adventure!

Thanks Anemic! Your walkthroughs are always entertaining!
Perfect end, thnx all.
Completed the game just after it went ‘live’ on here, without a walkthrough…
But then had to come back later to check the comments, just to read Anemic’s walkthrough :-D
More entertaining than the actual game ;-)
Now I’m off to make toast, anybody fancy some?
yes please toxic
@Toxic:
I’ll have some, as long as there are no congealed butter balls.
Nice walkthrough again Anemic!
As always, I love Anemic’s walkthroughs (and you made me check my fly!). Toxic, I’ll take some toast too, wheat, dry with maybe a little hummus.
I’m all out of hummus now…
How was everybody’s toast? :-D
I do love me some toast
