N’s File is the latest Room Escape game created by created by HILG, the author of F.IN – The Next Day,  P-Sensor, K-Sensor, Escape to Freedom V.2, U Sensor, B Sensor, C Sensor and the Wizard Taro series.

The action takes place in March. You play as N, an employee of Amateras industry who likes  sneaking around in the company’s building.

You end in a training room and the question is how you get out of here?

Click the purple Japanese/English button in the top left corner of the text window to switch between Japanese and English.

    global id or a note(?) I have chair (used) lockbox (used) key (used) usb (used), turned off the lights, kept the left one off and turned on lights, clicked everywhere.

    Saw everything on the computer, but am STUCK!

    for global id, I played with the switches (on and off again) and then I could pick up the id on the side of the computer, from that you get code (look at the triangles) for host on computer, and THEN you can put the bottle on the door handle

    Inspect the lockbox from your inventory
    Click the bottom to change the view
    It will say either “OPEN CODE:F/TO” or “OPEN CODE:J/TO”

    OPEN CODE:F/TO = file 02/21. rotate the image to line up the pink
    shirt person and fill in the blue squares to match the blue people

    OPEN CODE:j/TO = file 01/21. rotate the image to line up the pink
    shirt person and fill in the blue squares to match the blue people

    Click the left side of the box to open and take the key

    Turn right, pick up the chair. Hit the blue button to go back to the original view.

    2. Show

    Turn left and zoom in on the shelf. Pick up the box. Zoom in on the trash can and click where it says “Push”. Pick up the plastic bottle. Zoom out (blue button), then zoom in on the trash can again. Click on the opposite side of the lid and pick up the note. Zoom back out all the way.

    3. Show

    Go forward to the security camera. Get the USB drive and the wire. Zoom out.

    4. Show

    Go backwards to the computer. Click on the right edge to zoom in on the USB slots; put the USB drive in one of them. Zoom out once, then click the screen. Look at the folders labeled 01/21 and 02/21 and use them to figure out the code for the box in your inventory (see below for more help). Get the key from the box and zoom out.

    Box code: Show

    The two folders are two different views of the same room, with people sitting in some of the chairs. Look at the box in your inventory and press the buttons; notice how they turn blue – except for the one in the corner, which turns pink. Now notice how the people in the picture are all in blue, except the lady in the corner who’s in pink. You need to turn on the squares that correspond to the occupied chairs.

    5. Show

    Go forward-right to the plant. Look down and put the chair next to the pot. Look at the plastic bottle in your inventory and remove the lid. Fill the bottle with dirt from the plant. Replace the lid, then add the wire thingy to get a hanging weight of sorts. Hit the blue button once to look at the top of the plant again.

    6. Show

    Click the box on the wall above the plant. Open it with the key. Flip both switches, then find the arrow pointing to the right (middle of the right edge of the screen). Go back and switch on the left switch only. Zoom back out all the way.

    7. Show

    Find the new “southwest” arrow (point your mouse at the corner of the near left table). Get the code thingy from the floor on the left of the rug. Zoom back out, then turn to the computer. Look at the video in the last folder (labeled 3/21) and notice the indicator to the left of the elevator doors. (There are play and pause buttons above the video to help you.) Use this with the code thingy to figure out the code for the host computer.

    8. Show

    Click the Host link on the computer and enter the code you found. When the stack of buttons with gibberish[ahem, sorry] Japanese text appears, click the bottom one.

    9. Show

    Zoom out and go forward-left to the door. Hang the plastic bottle of dirt off of the doorknob.

    10. Show

    Go back to the box above the plant and turn on the right switch. Go back to the door and click it twice to go out.
