Walkthrough (let’s see, I’d be amazed if this was the only walkthrough by the time I’ve finished – rather short game):

Have a look around the room so you’ll better know what I’m talking about when I mention where to go ;-)
Look at the “picture” with the red squares on the wall. It’s a table of elements. Notice the green numbered squares. Also, have a look behind the left side of the shelf where you’ll see a gas tap.
Now, search through the shelf. There’s a lot to find here:
– in the bottom row, in the middle compartment: a lighter
– in the middle row, between the books (look closely): a part of a key
– in the top row, in the left compartment: blue cards with numbers on them
On the right side of the shelf, on top, there’s a CD you can’t pick up. And in front of the shelf, on its right side, there are some more cards with numbers – haven’t found out what cards or CD are there for yet. Maybe there’s another solution to the game than just this one?
When you click at the lamp, you can see through a window, into a red bedroom you can’t enter yet.

Look at the two parcels by the door. They both have a partial address on them, one on the front, the other one on the back. That gives you a clue as to how the owner of this room is called. What’s more, when you look behind the smaller parcel, you can also pick up a beaker.
Have a closer look at the whiteboard saying “Room 2a”, and you’ll find out this is a classical “picture-hiding-a-safe” situation. Only you don’t know the code to the safe yet.
Now look under the sink, by the tubes: This is where the other part of the key is hidden. A look at the sink itself shows there’s a bar of soap there (you can’t pick it up).
And before you leave this screen, don’t forget to look at the dustbin and take the piece of a toothbrush.

Show

In order to use the laptop, you’ll have to enter a user name and a password. The user is the guy living here – you know his name from the parcels. Use his last name as user name.
The password hint is the table of elements. Therefore, look up the elements in the green squares, and put their abbreviations in the order given by the numbers to get the password (google for a picture, or look the system up on Wikipedia).
For the lazy ones:

You’ll get the code for the safe (changes every time). Use it to open the safe and take the coin.
Look at the sockets under the table and you’ll see a screw on one of the table’s legs.
Unscrew it using the coin, and you’ll get a screwdriver.
Look behind the right side of the chest of drawers and take the bunsen burner.
Open the lower drawer in the chest of drawers, take the tripod and unscrew the screw, then take out the drawer.
In order to open the upper drawer, you need a key, but the broken key is unusable in its state.

Show

Return to the sink. Push both halves of the key into the bar of soap.
Now go to the gas tap. Connect the bunsen burner to the tap, put the tripod and the beaker above it. Ignite the burner using a spark from the empty lighter.
Drop the toothbrush handle into the beaker, leave this picture and return rightaway. Then, the handle will be molten.
Pour the liquid plastic into the key impression in the soap. Use the plastic key to unlock the second drawer, unscrew the drawer and take it out.
You can now leave the room through a hole in the wall.

that you have to take out the board in the middle of the chest of drawers, too.
