Does anyone know how to Show

get the green thing attached to the wall? I have the bolts, rope, green thing, hole in the wall, and have seen the attachment thing at the back of the cat’s head, but I can’t put anything together.

Wondering if this is a glitch or something simple I’m missing.

after nearly tearing my hair out and restarting the game twice…..
You need to do “about item” on the green thing with the holes and click on it a few times to make it ready to use. Not sure what it does….takes the cover off or something?

I wrote the above before I’d actually tried to fit it to the wall! Now I realise what it is. You click it to turn it over and then you see a white strip on the back. This is an adhesive strip – you click on that to remove the covering paper so you can stick it to the wall! THEN you can fix it in place with the screws! DOH!!!

Select rope – do “About Item” and click it to retrieve a key hidden inside.

Then attach rope to the green thing (pulley?), then to back of cat’s head, then put the key (from the rope) into the machine to left of cat and click it. Attach rope to the metal loop, pull the lever to raise cat up. Use vacuum cleaner to get the key from hole under cat.

Walkthrough, with thanks to MommyBerrios and others — I was getting absolutely nowhere on my own.

Click the left edge of the lockers near the top to see one clue, and the left edge near the bottom to see another.

Turn left. Click the right edge of the cat’s upraised paw (just below the row of gray claws) to get the socket wrench. Click the cat’s other paw to zoom in and see the number 82 on the collar. (Yes, really, it’s there, at the right side, black on dark green.) Note also that you can change the color of the cat’s claws.

Turn twice. Click the bottom right edge of the carton (tan thing with the bright green stripe) to see the number 73 below a barcode. Combine this with the number from the cat, in the order specified on the bottom clue from the lockers, to get the code for the wall safe. Enter it (7382) and click the doors to get the vacuum.

Do “about item” on the vacuum. Click the attachment at the end of the hose to remove it. Click the back of the vacuum twice to get the yellow key.

Turn left; use the yellow key to open the leftmost locker, and get the ladder.

Put the ladder to the right of the lockers, and click above the top right corner of the lockers to get the screwdriver. Take the ladder back.

Turn left. Put the ladder behind the cat, click above it, and use the screwdriver to remove the panel and get the green key. Also unscrew the panel on the front of the contraption next to the cat.

Turn right and use the green key to open the second locker. Get the pulley, and click toward the top of the open locker to get the box cutter.

Turn right. Use the box cutter on the carton to reveal the washer. Note the pattern of colors of the knobs. Take the hose from the left side. Click the lid to get the red key.

Turn left. Use the red key to open the third locker and get the rope.

Do “about item” on the rope. Click the bottom of the coil to get the red-and-yellow key.

The top clue from the lockers should make more sense now. Turn left, and apply the sequence of colors from the washer knobs (blue-green-green-blue) to the cat’s claws. Click the yellow thing it’s holding to move it a little. Now apply the second color pattern (all red) from the clue, and click the yellow thing again to move it completely out of the way.

Click the yellow circle on the cat’s belly to turn it green. This makes the bolts holding the cat to the floor accessible, one on each side. Use the socket wrench to remove them.

Do “about item” on the pulley. Click the bottom edge to turn it over; click the rectangle in the middle to expose the adhesive.

Click above the ladder behind the cat again. Put the pulley in place, then use the bolts from the cat and the socket wrench to secure it. Put the rope on the pulley.

Go back down, then click the right edge of the upraised paw again to see the hook. Tie the rope to the hook. Put the red-and-yellow key in the contraption next to the cat and turn it to reveal another hook; tie the other end of the rope to it. Click the lever to raise the cat.

Do “about item” on the vacuum again to attach the hose from the washer. Click the top of the vacuum to see the switch; turn it on.

Click the hole under the cat, and use the vacuum on the key. Do “about item” on the vacuum and click the back twice to retrieve the key.

At this point you can use the key on the door and you’re out, but…

For “happy coin”: before you pull the lever to raise the cat, turn off the lights and look at the contraption. The display changes to 2__2. After you pull the lever, turn off the lights again to see _55_. Combine these and enter the code (2552) in the wall safe and get the coin.

Note that you never get a key for the rightmost locker. You can open it if you make it look like the panel on the front of the contraption (when the lights are on): blue-gray-blue-gray. (That is, if the first and third lockers are closed, and the second one is open, you can open the fourth.) There’s nothing in it, near as I can tell.
