Un Cuarto Insipido is the second Room Escape game developed by the author of El Cuarto de la Naranja. You don’t change a “successful formula”: Un Cuarto Insispido is still all written in Japanese, it still features very special graphics and it will delight all pixel hunters. Have fun!

Help…got some items but cant use them… the Show

jug tug doesnt seem to work with “about item” (magnifying glass), cant use it on the jug tug thingi… dont know what to do with the bluegreen thing or the white with cross in middle nor the red wire

Im stuck… with Show

blue, yellow and green screwdriver, hammer, two keys, pliers, red wire, white thing with x on it and jug tug.

cant do anything more…

used hammer on pliers and the pixel thingi appeared on pliers and this “tool” opened the door????

I don’t know what “insipido” means in Spanish, but this is a truly insipid game.
Here’s a walkthrough.

Get the red wire hanger from the right-hand locker, and the screwdriver handle padding from behind the the bottom right corner of the lockers.

Turn left. Get the pillow(?) from the chair. You can pick up the “jug tug” (eraser?) from the left of the dresser, but you can’t do anything with it.

Turn twice. Click on the left of the chest/dresser where the horizontal line of the floor meets the vertical line of the edge of the chest. Use the hanger to get the key.

Turn left. Use the key to open the left-hand locker. Use the pillow on the screen to reveal some number-letter equivalences. Decode this to get a three-digit number. It’s actually four digits, but you don’t have any info to determine one, and you end up just skipping that.

I got 886 both times, and given how lazy this designer has shown himself to be, it’s probably always correct.

Turn right. Click the little white bit on the chest and enter your code. (The piggy is the “enter” button.) Zoom back out and open the top drawer; get the screwdriver. Use the magnifying glass on it and apply the handle padding. Use the padded screwdriver on the grate under the bench to get a red key.

Turn right. Use the red key to open the cabinet. Get the hammer. Use the screwdriver padding on the bolt at the bottom (nothing will appear to happen), then zoom out and click the bottom right corner of the cabinet. It should move to the left. Click the window and get the yellow knife(?).

Turn right. Use the knife on a corner of the panel by the door. Get the tweezers (the grey blob on the bottom left). Use the magnifing glass on the tweezers, and use the hammer on it. This somehow combines the tweezers with the colored thingie from the bottom drawer. Use this whatever-it-is on the door and you’re out.

Walkthrough by Tosca from escape games

Click lightswitch.
( Open right door of locker and take coathanger.) At right side of lockers, take first part of screwdriver.
Go left and take tissu from stool. At left side of chest take ???
Two times right and take key from left side of chest. Use this key on left locker to see monitor. use the tissu on monitor and find the code.
CUARTO – R – C Ignore aldso the A –> UTO ———-> 886 Put this code in the chest when you go left. Click piggy and thenthe drawer and get second part of screwdriver. Uplight it and put blue part on it.
Now click under the bench and open panel with screwdriver to get red key.
Go right and use red key on big locker.
Get hammer.
Look at the bottom and see the screw, use blue handle on it. It wont move but when you get back and click the rightside of the big locker it will move and you see the windowsill with a yellow knife on it. Take the knife and use on the panel next to the door.
Under the open panel you can take tweesers. On the tweesers use the hammer and with that take the scrambled picture ofthe lower drawer of the chest next to the bench.
With this cuarto insipidio and tweesers , you can open the door
