Room Bath

Room Bath is a new Japanese Room Escape game that takes place in a bathroom. You find yourself trapped here, and I wonder how you ended up in such a situation?

Created by Azuki, the author of Room Fake, Room Bath is beautifully done and allows you to save your progress.

Look closely for items (there are many of them hidden in this bathroom), and hopefully, you’ll find a way to get out of here!

   ROOM BATH HALF-WALKTHROUGH :
   Show

   1. Click the cabinet, open the middle drawer. Get secret note. Go back.
   2. Go left and click on sink. Undo stopper and take muddy scissors.
   3. Go back and left. Flush toilet and wash scissors in water on top of toilet.
   4. Go right and snip the string on cabinet. Inside, take detergent and washing machine instructions.
   5. Go right and click bottom-left corner of washing machine. Remove and turn over panel to reveal a key which you should take.
   6. Go back and right. Open shower curtain and look under bathtub. Take cord.
   7. Go back and click the cabinet and use key on top drawer. Open cabinet and take balloon and detergent scoop. Take YELLOW GEM from foot of bathtub.
   8. Go back and left. Click bottom left of washing machine and connect cord. Go back.
   9. Click the washing machine and open detergent. Use scoop on it. Open the little tab on the washing machine and take the FIVE TILE. Put detergent in. Repeat twice more.
   10. Go back and move towels on washing machine. Take dirty rag. Open washing machine and put that in.

   12. Just kidding. Open the washer and take the dirty rag. Upside down, you can see numbers. For example, LIES=5317 LOSE=3507 and HIGH=4614.
   13. Turn to the toilet. Take the tiny RED GEM to the upper left. Click combination on toilet.
   14. Make the combination what you found on the dirty rag. Take SIX TILE and key.
   15. Turn to the bathtub. Click the cabinet above the lion and use the key on it. Take the stool. This will be helpful.
   16. Back up and move the rug. Put stool on mark and go up. Take blue gem and The Story on the ceiling. Read that real quick, then click the projector. Take the TWO TILE.
   17. Go back twice and take the stool. Go right twice and then put the stool down on the mark. Go up.
   18. Look above the drawers and take the crowbar. Go back and open the left drawer. Take the handle.
   19. Go back twice and right twice. Click the lion and put the handle under him.
   20. Go back and click the cabinet. Click the right side of it and use the crowbar on both nails. Take the straight one and go back.
   21. Open bottom drawer and take valve. Check the left side of the cabinet to get the elusive THREE TILE.
   22. Go back twice and click bathtub. Use valve above the faucet and turn it.
   23. Go back and put the first note you got into the water. Take bowl and doll. Click doll again. Go right and click toilet paper dispenser.
   24. Click top of toilet paper dispenser and take ONE TILE and tube. Move the flippers as shown on the first note. Back up.
   25. Move to bathtub and click yellow lion. Open cabinet and click handle. Put doll near devil. Back up and open the cabinet again. Raise doll’s head then take key inside.
   26. Move to screen with lion picture with bowl indentation. Put stool down and look on the cabinet. Open the right cabinet with the doll’s key. Open the cabinet and take the FOUR TILE and superglue.
   27. Put superglue on the nail and use the nail on balloon. Get ORANGE STONE. Look in detergent box for BLUE STONE.
   28. Go left and use crowbar on big wood panel. Open grate and take PURPLE STONE.

   use sword on blue guy, go back open lion again and take red guy. Turn red guy around, get valve. put valve in muddy sink and tap it again. find order. use bowl, get water from the tap and put it in any tube in the machine with 5 tubes. put bowl over grate and take purple water. put purple water in middle test tube. go back, get water in bowl from muddy sink and put it into the test tube on the very right of the machine. then go get some water from the toilet, put it into the bowl, put that in 4th test tube. bathtub water goes in 2nd test tube, toilet sink water goes in first test tube. put bowl on grate and click button. get……….. yellow liquid. go back and left. Put yellow water into lion’s mouth. now go to where the other lion was and put the numbered tiles like this…

   after Archon found out the begining of the secret way out, i found that that the clear crystal shines if you stand facing it and the bathtub. i dunno what to do from there

   Before going to the tunnel read Archon posts no. 108 and 148.

   This revels another code for the toilet if you close the curtain.
   The squares that are revealed are the tiles that that you placed behind the lion head.
   The arrow is the order the numbers of the code. Therefor the code is: 4263
   Enter this combination on toilet and press arrow.

   The word “True” will show up with two circles, one inside the other. This is a picture of the washing machine (remember the paper that gave you instructions on how to wash the cloth? The washing machine was drawn the same way right?)

   Go to the washing machine and you’ll find steps.

   Head inside and you have the True Ending

    Finish the game up to after putting in the six gems.
    Then turn to the sink and look inside the tunnel.
    See the panel? Open it and flip the switch.
    Now take the stool and go up to the camera.
    Hit the switch on the camera, which now points to the gems on the ground.
    This gives you another code for the tubes, which is…
    Toilet Water, Bathtub Water, Golden Water, Toilet Sink Water, Muddy Sink Water.
    Now hit the switch and a drawer opens above the tubes. Get the female doll.
    Move over to the bathtub and put female doll by male doll.
    Now give them some privacy, then open up. Take the heart. Inside is a peg.
    Move over to the white lion, put the bowl in his mouth, and he turns around.
    Put the peg into the slot.
    Go back to the yellow lion and press the bottom left button.
    Now go back to the white lion over the sink and there should be a door with the clear gem inside.

    Note: this has already been mentioned, just thought I’d move it over here. It covers the true ending up to the clear gem. All credit goes to Archnon.

Step into the washing machine and you’ve got yourself…

    I’m having trouble placing the numbered tiles. In the walkthrough it looks like placing them in 4 rows descending, but the fourth row (bottom) is the one with the button. Help?

    I’ll start with the washing machine. The machine itself is empty, but there’s probably something in that drawer, and I can move the towels. Hmmm, seems I can’t read what’s on that rag. I’ll have to find a way to clean it.

    It appears I can look at another part of the machine. Hey, there’s the power cord! But it doesn’t reach. But that metal panel looks like it can be flipped….Excellent, a key! Oh, I almost forgot the wooden board on the wall. It appears to be stuck.

    I turn right. I think that curtain would be of more use open. Those drawers look interesting, and what’s that on the foot of the tub when I look at the drawers?

    I can open two of the drawers right now. That third one won’t open; there must be something holding it closed. Maybe I should check both sides of the drawers. The left one yields something looking like the one I found in the washing machine. The right one tells me why the bottom drawer won’t open. Hmmm, I’ll need a tool of some sort.

    Now to the tub. It appears to be empty, but I can look under the tub. Excellent. Oh, the rug moves. Interesting marks. Hey, look at that lion. I’ll need a key, a handle, and a valve.

    I turn right again. There appears to be something behind the curtain. The toilet arm is locked with a code, and it appears that when I flush the toilet, water comes out that sink. Hey, what’s that spot on the floor for? OK, I’ll need 5 more stones.

    I’d best not forget the toilet paper holder. Well, that’s 3 tiles. I can remove the tube, and the handles flip. That might be useful somehow.

    I turn right again. Those marks on the floor might mean something; where have I seen those as well? That paper looks like the lion head, and there’s a bowl-shaped indentation. Dang, that cabinet is tied shut. And those cabinets are too high. Maybe I should look in the sink. Ewww. How can I drain it? Of course, pull the plug. Hey, what’s that in the grime?

    Looks like scissors, but I need to clean them. This sink needs a valve, but where have I seen a working sink? Ah yes, the toilet. Now a tied-shut cabinet doesn’t seem such a threat.

    That appears to be detergent in the box, and those are instructions for a washing machine. Well, I have one of those! Let’s see, I can plug in the machine now, and the dirty cloth is what needs to be washed. Now, I have a scoop, and I have detergent, but how many scoops did I need? Best check that paper again. Hey, I’ve finished with the detergent, and there’s something else in the box!

    That button must turn on the machine. Wow, that’s a fast wash. The rag is clean, and it says something. But I don’t know what it means. Maybe if I used a different angle….Numbers! I know where they go.

    Crowbars are good for removing nails. The straight one might be useful; after all, I have a balloon just begging to be popped. That makes 4 stones. Oh yes, I can open the drawer now. I’m guessing this goes with the bathtub….Yes!

Hey, if I put the bowl on the grate, I can collect the drainage. Whoa, cool! It drains purple! Now where have I seen something else purple that’s not a stone? Oh yes, the symbols. Let’s try and work those out.

    Let’s see, 5 symbols, 5 tubes. Orange…faucet…where have I seen a faucet that shape? Red…steam…some hot water. Purple…that one’s easy. Blue…the bluest water is in the toilet. Green…valve…where’s the sink valve that shape? Oh yes, right in front of me. Better put the water in the tubes, and collect the drainage. Cool! It drains yellow!

    Now let’s see if the lion likes the water. He does! Hey, he’s showing me a spot on the floor. I found that already, but that appears to say bottom up. Color order perhaps? And what’s with that square hole?

    Whoa, the lion head spun too! The tiles fit on the dots. Now, what was that order again? Hey, the lion’s missing an eye! Maybe if I checked with the samurai…the last stone!

    Wow, a light by the floor panel. Those symbols look like tubes, and the stone colors are the same as the sink symbols…except for yellow. Of course, I have yellow water. Now where’s that bowl again? Ah yes.

There’s nothing at the real lion head, so I’ll check the drawing. Hey, a door! Okay, I thought I was done with all the stones.

    Just to clarify something:

    In my hint-through (2nd-to-last spoiler) it says to check the cabinets. This will not work now. Apparently, in the last few days, a minor error has been fixed. It used to be that when you turned the camera, the spots were still visible on the cabinets, even though the camera was shining elsewhere. This is no longer the case. The code is 4263.
