   First in and out. A little counter-intuitive at times, but better than most games. Pretty short, too.

   …and the ending was weird….

   Here’s a partial walkthrough
   Show

   First – notice the times on all the clocks.
   Second – go to the trashcan and read the note. Notice the minus sign is blackened on the note. each time will be subtracted. 845-420 = 425 425-105 = 320 Thats the code for the safe.
   Third – enter code into safe. Take the hammer.
   Fourth – use hammer on the grandfather clock. Take the pendulum.
   Fifth – turn so you are facing the door… use the pendulum on the button, you hear a click.
   Sixth – turn so your facing the window, use the pendulum on the button. The “fake window” falls away.
   Seventh – use the hammer to take all the nails out of the boards.

   Thats where I am at: I can put the nails in the machine on the desk but its not doing anything and I cant figure it out.

   Go to the machine on the desk. Place the nails so the points go to the 4’s and the 2’s. Not sue why tho. The side opens with a key. Take the key.
   Last: use the key on the door and you’re out.

   difference gives the key for the safe code….alexa the nails work also…very slow game or my computer is having issues…I out

   Hmm…looks like the game was made in a rush.
   You only need to solve two puzzles and you’re out.
   Just something to do during your coffee brake I guess.

   hmm.. I make it 7:45 but I guess I’m on my own since 8:45 gives the right code…

   I had 7:45, 1:05, 4:20… if you add the number in the board on the desk those are 4, 7 and 1 (the hours on the times I found)… it all got me nothing tho… lol

    The game designer is either not particularly observant, or he doesn’t have many analog clocks around. When he set the hands on the grandfather clock, he forgot that at three-quarters past, the hour hand should _also_ be three-quarters past the hour. The wall clock goes too far the other way: at five after, the hour hand should be only one-twelfth of the way to the next number, and should line up almost exactly with the minute hand.

    Complete walkthrough

    -Look at the note in the trash can. It mentions all the clocks and “difference”.
    -This means you have to subtract the times on the clocks. 8:45-4:20-1:05=3:20.
    -Enter 3 20 into the safe – get hammer.
    -Use hammer on clock and get pendulum.
    -Use pendulum to push button between door and clock.
    -Click the button on the window and it falls away.
    -Use hammer to remove all 6 nails from boards.
    -Go to the desk puzzle. You have to put the nails in the puzzle so that wherever a number is, that number of nails crosses that spot.
    -Put the nails in like this: Top row: Middle and right – Left side: Top and middle – Right side: Middle – Bottom row: Middle (if you don’t understand that, use the picture in comment 10, or just do it on your own – it’s not hard)
    -If you got it right the puzzle will open and give you a key.
    -Use key to open door and you’re out – or not.

    Really sorry about all this… This game was more or less a practice in ActionScripting that I decided to upload. I didn’t know so many people would play it!!

    Anyway, yes, the grandfather clock SHOULD read 8:45… There’s a fixed version on Newgrounds.

    More of a HINT rather than exact answer on the DESK PUZZLE Show

    There’s a grid with numbers 1,2,4, and you have 6 nails. Put the nails according to each number on the grid so that the nail crosses that number that many times. I hope that helps : )

    The Flash advertising makes the game very slow on my computer. Good game, but hard for a newbe like me. The hardest part for me was the formula to get the safe combination.
