Escape from the Compartment of a Truck is the latest Japanese Room Escape game created by Tesshi-e, the author of Escape from my Room, Escape from the Same Rooms, Escape from the Balloon Room and more. The question today: how to get out from the truck? Have fun!

several of us have been asking about the 2nd battery but those that find it aren’t telling. PLEASE HELP! I’ve been playing for over an hour and am getting very frustrated.

walkthrough for mountain/happy coin ending

before you start the game, pay attention to the license plate of the truck: 78-48 on a green background. (thanks Gorka at escapegames24).

walk forward toward the blue doors/boxes (you have to move your cursor to the top of the screen as though you were going to look at the ceiling).
open as many of the blue doors/boxes as you can. notice that the ones that are left form the shape of a 1. take the blue key and the red and green paper. do ‘about item’ on the paper and it unfolds. (or at least, it used to…)

turn left and zoom in on the key box. put the blue key in the slot (the light turns red) and click again to turn it (the light turns green). zoom back out and take the pole from the space that’s opened up in the wall below the key box. click the left side of the space to zoom in and take the battery.

zoom back out, turn left, move forward towards the two large gray doors. use the pole to get the black key from above the right door. turn right twice and move forward towards the wall of blue doors/boxes.

close the doors/boxes that are open. look up (this time you will actually be looking up) and use the pole on the door in the ceiling. a ladder appears. look down again so you can see the doors/boxes through the ladder and click on the bottom rung.

you are now in a space above the main compartment. click on the switches such that their colors are green-green-red-green-red (all switch positions are thanks Jennan_16 at escapegames24). go back down the ladder. the doors/boxes have turned red. click the green button to retract the ladder. open as many doors/boxes as you can. notice that the ones that are still closed resemble a 7. take the screwdriver. leave the doors/boxes open this time.

look up, use the pole on the door, look down, click on the bottom rung (in other words, go back upstairs). click the switches so that the colors are green-red-red-green-green. go back downstairs. the doors/boxes are once again blue; open as many as you can. this leaves three doors/boxes closed.

look up, use the pole on the door, look down, click on the bottom rung (in other words, go back upstairs). click on the large button on the far left; all the switches will be down and the screen turns grey scale. go back downstairs. you can now open the last three doors/boxes. get the battery in the lower right. you don’t need the toy in the top middle to achieve this ending.

click on the bottom rung of the ladder to go back upstairs. click all the switches so they are up and the light is green. go back downstairs; the doors/boxes have turned blue again. click on the green button on the ladder to retract it; the wall turns gold. click the happy coin.

go back upstairs. look up (i think this actually has you turn round, but you have to click at the top of the screen rather than the sides). you will see a box with what looks like a green key in it. put the black key in the slot under the word “open.” click it again to turn it to an angle and matches the angle of the yellow line. use the screwdriver on each screw, then click on the panel to expose a space. put the batteries in this space. the blue/green glass will lift and you can now see that the key is brown/yellow. you can also get the key.

look down/turn around such that you are looking at the switches. go back downstairs. turn right twice so you are facing the large grey doors. move forward towards the to large gray doors. turn right and zoom in on the key box. if you had left the blue key turned on, the top small light will be green. put the brown/yellow key in the slot and click it to turn it. the second small light turns from red to green.

click the large red light; it will turn green and the door will open revealing a key pad. if you’ve been able to unfold the red and green paper, you’ll see that it’s a band of red, a double band of green, and a band of blue. remember the numbers from the doors/boxes you couldn’t open? so the first number is seven and the last number is one. remember the license plate from the beginning of the game? 78-48 (27) on a green background means that the middle two numbers are two and seven. (thanks again to Gorka at escapegames24). the code, then, is 7271. click ok; the third small light will now be green.

zoom out and turn left to face the pair of large gray doors. click on the left door, and then on the outside.

rather than write an entire walkthrough for the storefront ending, i’ve just listed the variations under one spoiler. THIS ASSUMES YOU HAVE DONE THE FIRST ENDING.

you don’t need the brown/yellow key for the side door ending, so you don’t need the black key, the screwdriver, the red/green/blue piece of paper, or both batteries. you will need to get the blue key to open the panel below the key box near the wall of doors/boxes. get the pole and pick up the battery. you won’t need to use the battery, but you will need to get behind where it’s sitting.

go upstairs (using the pole and the ladder) and turn all the switches off. go back downstairs; everything is in grayscale. open the top middle door/box and click the yellow face. it will fly past you. turn right twice and pick up the toy. click on ‘about item’, click on the toy’s left arm (your right), take the tool that pops up out of its head.

turn right twice, go back up the ladder, turn all the switches back on. come back downstairs; the doors/boxes are blue again. turn left to face the key box and the open panel. zoom in on the left end of the open panel where the battery was; there is now a mechanism with a hole in the middle. put the tool in the hole and click on the arm of it turn it. zoom back out and turn right twice. a door on the side of the truck has opened. click on the open space and you have escaped!

WALKTHROUGH

zoom in and open all the blue box you can and take the blue key and a red, green, blue paper.

Go left and put the blue key in the keyhole on the wall and press the red botton.

Zoom out and take the ladder. Zoom in on the left side of the sloth and find a battary.

Go to the doors and zoom in, take the ladder to get the black key on the top of the door.

Zoom out and zoom in on the blue boxes,then click in the ceilling and find a door. Take the ladde and click on the door then zoom out, go upstairs.

You will see a control panel,
you have to get the boxes in 3 colors, blue, red and gray to get item.
From the left: Switch the botton to Green, Green, Red, Green and red.
This should turn the boxes red, now go downstairs and open all the boxes you can to get the screwdriver.
Go upstairs again and turn the power off, (the big botton) and go down to open the rest. You will find the second battary and a yellow thing.

Go upstairs and turn the power on and all the rest of the botton (all green), go down and take away the ladder. Everything turn in to gold and you will find a gold coin.

Go upstairs and click on the ceilling and you will see a black box with a green key in. Use the screwdriver, put the battary in and open the box and get the BROWN/YELLOW key.

Go down and put the Brown/yellow key to the box near the doors. Go to the blue boxes and turn around until you see the yellow thing. In the yellow thinngs head(click on he’s rigth arm) you will get a key, of some sort. Go to the box on the wall near the blue boxes and there you found a battary there will be a keyhole. Put the key in this keyhole and turn it. Now, zoom out and turn a round until you see a open door.

dont worry j i had that problem looked on another site was more helpful,tip is to get any where go to the bit where u see the blue boxes then go up then u can open then to start getting things.
