The object here is to prevent enemy units from taking over the Hungarian Revolutionary headquarter. Place your fighters on the building tops to destroy incoming Russian tanks, secret police sedans and armored cars.
Budapest Defenders is a classical TD like game: it offers two maps and 30 waves of enemies. In expert mode, enemies enter from both sides and your headquarter has two entrances to guard.

snipers and handgunners are useless
get past the first little bit with only a couple of machinegunners right at home, maybe invest in a third
then set up a couple of strategically set road blocks to divert dudes from weak side of home
at the end of the game, all the damage will be done with molotovs, just channel the tanks into a couple of silly paths to get blown to smithereens, and buy molotoves and take advantage of the ‘splash damage’ they inflict
there is a bug for the game, when u pause, ur gunmen will reload a bit even though u paused the game, u can beat the expert with no life lost by only buying snipers and pausing
does anyone know how to make higher your highscore like they have in there?
Jack is right, I just start at the center and start adding snipers until every spot is filled moving outward from the center. I beat the 30 waves with only 10% life lost the first time I played. WEAK.
Ok,, in the beginning place a few road blocks and invest in machine gunners.
when you get cash build road blocks and protect your base with snipers. channel the creep throught the city and launch as many sniper and gunners on em as you can. The road blocks play a key role in thins game.

how do you beat expert?
Start with 2 machine gunners on the left side of the HQ and close the right sides of the entrances with 3 roadblocks. Add more and more gunners, molotov throwers to the left of the HQ. You can also use snipers, but place them above, below, or a little right from the HQ. Upgrade some molotovs. And place MANY roadblocks: to the left of HQ, build a vertical wall with 1 unit wide “hole”, so every enemy has to go past it, and the molotov throwers should kill them. Build more roadblocks in a way that enemies can only go in zig-zags.
