   Looks like a good one so far. Stuck on the order of the 4 wooden balls with faces. Guess my brain has shut down for the night. Will try again later.

   I think there might be a bug with the order of the balls, reversing the middle two.

   Anyway, nice game. It flowed together well.

     i think you must find Show

     the scroll

     before you could open the smiley puzzle. i’ve tried all the combinations before, but it didn’t work, till i found the combinations from it.

     anyway, stuck after opening the basement/garden door and door with some mechanism (use Show

     the hair comb

     to open it… d*mn archer, i can’t go anywhere now. lol..

   Smiley puzzle

   Show

   Right. For whatever reason I must have reversed smiley and frowny in my head. Worked fine on replay.

   Archer:

   Show

   First, throw the fighting star at the first archer. He fires an arrow. Take the arrow and the comb.

   Use the comb to open the locked gate.

   The place where you took the star from contains a four-number code (count the star blades). Use that code where there are dice.

   Slide open the door above the dice and take the bow. Combine the arrow with the bow.

   Go back downstairs and shoot the archer with the bow and arrow.

   Now that you’re free of the archer:

   Show

   Go to the pyre area and take the rake and the sword. Unsheathe the sword by clicking on it in close-up.

   Back upstairs and into the secret passage.

   Use the rake to clean up the chocolate chips. Look low and right to find a ladle.

   Move forward. Look up and left to take a hex piece. Use the sword to chop up the bamboo stripper pole in front of you.

   Up the ladder…

   Attic:

   Show

   Use the oar at the top right of the screen to take a beach ball.

   Remembering the picture inside the closet, use your sword to chop the beach ball in half and take a small bar.

   Combine the small bar with the hex piece.

   Back to the dojo.

   Use your combined hex widget thing in the hex hole near the machinery. This starts a water wheel.

   Open the right side of the closet nearest you and take a blade.

   Downstairs you go…

   Back in the Dungeon

   Show

   Go back to the pyre area. Use the ladle to take some water.

   Click on your sword, and you have a magic lasso. Who knew?

   Revisit the attic. Pour the ladle with water onto the flames.

   Move what looks like melted guns to the side, and pick up a lighter.

   Use the blade on the center of the lighter and click it. Wasn’t a lighter after all. You now have a key.

   And back to the Dungeon again…

   Show

   Use the key to unlock the tiny door near the water wheel.

   Take a scroll. It looks blank.

   Bring the blank scroll over to the pyre. Place the scroll on the flame to reveal hidden writing that looks like the number 18.

   Go back to the attic.

   By now, you’ve figured out that the knocking sound is not someone at the door. Apparently this dojo allows you to wear noisy steel-toed boots. Or maybe you just weigh 400 pounds.

   Look at the slider puzzle on the wall. The scroll gives you the answer. It’s a bit tricky, but goes quickly as long as you see that the wooden background is also part of the white part of the figures.

   You hear a click. Step back and take a climber’s tool. Combine the rope with your new tool.

   Oh, yeah, you’re back in the Dungeon…

   Show

   Throw your rope and tool at the tree at the top right of the screen. Click on the tree.

   That’s it.

   Might as well offer up the start of the walkthrough…

   Beginning in the dojo, facing the main closet:

   Show

   Slide open the left-most door and take a Wal-Mart ball.

   Slide open the center doors and look at a picture of a ball being cut in half (this isn’t used until much later).

   Go right. Open the center doors to reveal the moon. Lift the privacy barrier to reveal another Wal-Mart ball.

   There’s a shelf below the center-right panel. Click on it twice to view it and open it. Take the throwing star. Remember the star code (6434) for later.

   Go right. Lift the plant, then click on the bottom of the plant to reveal a third Wal-Mart ball.

   Click on the right-most panel of the wall to turn it sideways. Take the oar. Click again to reverse it and view a code.

   Ringing the chimes:

   Show

   The code corresponds to the chimes on the left side of the wall. Remember the code (431241). Then play Quasimodo on the chimes in close-up to reveal a panel.

   Go right. Stick your oar on the floor panel to raise it and reveal a hidden area. There’s a scroll in the hidden area. Click the scroll in inventory to read it.

   Go right twice. Use the oar on a yellow spot on the ceiling to take the fourth Wal-Mart ball.

   Go back to the panel behind Quasimodo’s chimes. Use the scroll to place the four Wal-Mart balls properly. When you have done so, the floor will open, revealing a staircase to the Dungeon.

   (the code is Charlie Brown and smile, frown and don’t smile).

   Clomp down the stairs and watch as the archer fires arrows at you.

   Now you’re back to my earlier post.

   This was a good game, but I admit that I couldn’t find the 4th ball without the walkthrough, so thanks Anemic.

   Damn fine game, but I definitely needed a little help in one or two spots…and I still have NO idea where the pull-cord code came from!

     the back of the door that you opened to get the oar. After opening the door and getting the oar you have to click on the door a second time to flip it

   for anyone else who was completely stymied before finding all four faces:

   that clicking sound when you click on the doors doesn’t mean they are locked. it means they can be slid open. go figure.

    Actually I found it easier than some other escape games,
    not so challenging as said.

    But all in all, good game.
