“Flash Back” – CubeZ

CuberZCubeZCubeZ is an interesting puzzle game created in 2004 by Chris Clements, the author of the previously reviewed Cubox, Frog Day Afternoon and PODS.

Your goal here is to free up space on the board by grouping 3 or more of the same “cubeZ” and fill up the progress bar to reach the next level.

Use the arrow keys to move the cubeZ left, right and down and use the up arrow to swap their positions. Note that if this last action will cost you a one second penalty, it is a very useful feature!

Line up your cubeZ in any row so they match the order of the “Super 3” combination (located on the left part of the game window) to score extra points.

The game ends once you let the cubeZ pile up to the top of the screen.

CubeZ is a lovely addicting puzzle game; if there’s anything to complain about, it would be the lack of music. A nice way to spend the noon hour!

Have fun!
