The Scene of the Crime Mateusz Skutnik and the team behind Pastel Games strike again with a new black and white Point’n’Click Adventure series, The Scene of the Crime!

You play a detective. You are in a motel room. “Something really bad happened there. Try to find out what.

Collect evidence, find suspect, solve the case.”

This first episode is short, and unsurprisingly well done. I can’t wait for the next one!

Walkthrough:
Show

1. Look at the dead body in the bathtub. “The victim was a 30-year old male. Cause of death-a stab wound”
2. Look at the watch. “His watch stopped at 8:03 PM”
3. Turn right, then look behind the toilet for a piece of evidence.
4. Go back and go to the top of the toilet. Open the lid, then you will find a bloody knife.
5. Go back, click at the mirror. Collect the lipstick, go back, then look at the trash can. “Great amount of bleach. Somebody wanted to cover the tracks.”
6. Grab the note, then look in your briefcase and read the threat letter (the letter you collected).
7. Dust the knife and the lipstick for fingerprints. Then use the fingerprint tape and combine the two fingerprints together.
8. Now you can go to the other room. Look at the top of the TV and collect the car keys.
9. Open the middle drawer, get the phone battery, then open the bottom drawer and get the notebook.
10. Look at the door. “Apparently somebody forgot to bleach the blood spot next to the door”
11. Go back, click the left side of the TV, then grab the shell. “Something else bad happened here. Two people may have been murdered.”
12. Go back, then turn left. Open the left door, then click on the suit case. Open it. “Since when do kidnappers kidnap people with a full wardrobe?”
13. Go back, then click the coat. Grab the wallet, go into your briefcase, then look in the wallet. “The victim ate at 5:30 and paid the bill. Maybe he ate with a woman?”
14. Go back, then turn right 2 times. “Somebody has already searched the place.”
15. Click the painting, then remove it. “Looks like 100 thousand dollars hidden in the safe.”
16. Go back, then click where the night table on the left is. Then click on the hair.
17. Look under the bed, and grab the cell phone.
18. Insert the battery into the cell phone. Then grab your pencil and scribble on the victim’s notebook. “It says: ‘New pin: xxxx’ ”
19. Enter the pin on the cell phone, then you will get a message. “Martha Wont bother us anymore. I got the prize.”
20. Now you can get out of here!
21. “So what happened?”
22. “Now I know the truth…”
