The Node-01

The Node-01 is a new Room Escape game created by HILG, the author of the Wizard Taro series, Escape to Freedom V.2, U Sensor, B Sensor and C Sensor.

Just like in Wizard Taro 3, there is a lot to explore in the Node-01.

But first thing first, let’s figure out how to open the first door…

door by the “231” poster, and the roman numeral keypad forms an equation, 10-8=2. Can anyone tell me if any of that is helpful, or means anything?

I got a piece of paper with an “8” from next to the door that you come in through. I found 2 spots you can turn on on the table and one that shows up when you mouse over. Don’t know what else to do.

Look at the box on the wall with the blue circles. Try to make the symbols look like Roman Numerals and math symbols to make a correct equation.

See the order of the shapes on the codelock. Now take a look at the 8 keycode and see the shape of numbers that is formed when you follow the pattern of shapes.

You don’t have to have the screwdriver until much later, so you can go back for it if you need it.

I think I’m almost done… I can get to all the rooms and have entered codes everywhere I know of. However, now I’m stuck with Show

Look at the paper with the”8″ as though it were an LED clock… Turn “on” the lines with the symbols and see what number it would be. For example, the double circle and the square would make a 1.

You’re right, it’s LOVE. Put them in that order, then SAVE THE GAME so you don’t have to do that again, and then you can go through the door on your left!

Walkthrough (as far as I’ve gotten):

Tip: Click “MAP” in the lower left to view a map of where you are and what way you’re facing.

Room 1:

1) Click toward the bottom of the screen to look down. Pick up the piece of paper to the right of the couch. Notice that the couch is in the shape of a “C”.
2) Click the round glass table. Click the lower left of the table to get underneath it. Pick up the detergent bottle.
3) Click the top of the detergent bottle, then click inside to get the screwdriver.
4) Back up 3 times to the original view. Turn right twice. Zoom in on the plant on the left and then click near the bottom to zoom in on the flower pot. Pick up the key lying behind the pot.
5) Back out and click near the bottom of the screen so that the couch is in front of you. Click on the far right pillow twice to zoom in and then pick it up. Get the paper under it.
6) Zoom out and turn right to face the door and box on the wall. Click on the box on the wall. Click on the blue circles until your view looks like this:

Then click on the top of the box. Choose your key in inventory and click the slot on the top of the box.
7) Zoom out twice and click on the door. It opens now and you can go into the hall.

Turn right in the hall. Go to the end. Turn left to enter room 2.
Show

1) Click on the shelves to the right. Click on the space shuttle. Click it so it turns to the left.
2) Back out and click toward the bottom to zoom to the bottom of the shelf. Pick up the wooden box. Also pick up the paper on the shelf with the books.
3) Back up twice and turn right twice. Click on the seat of the chair to step up on it. Click on the wooden boxes in the upper right of the screen to turn and look at them. The angles of the words on the boxes are the angles to put the handles on the wooden box you picked up. This gives you a little ball.
4) Click down ONCE so that you’re still on the chair looking at the wall. Click near the bottom of the screen to look down. You’ll see an “A” on the rug.
5) Click down and forward to walk up to the wall with the circular hole. Put the ball from the wooden box into the hole. Click the wall to open it. Collect the paper and note that the silver/blue rectangle has the word “LOVE” in it.
6) Back out, turn left so you see the hallway. Click forward once into the hallway. Click the lower left side of the wall to zoom down onto the ground. Use your screwdriver on the box thing there. Click on the thing a few times to see the letter S.
7) Back up once and then click on the box on the right wall. This is the tough part. When you hit the blue S, the letters start scrolling. When you hit the red buttons, the letter above stops scrolling. You need to spell the word LOVE. If you mess up a letter, you have to hit all the red buttons and then the blue button to start over. My recommendation is to hit the red button as the letter before the one you’re trying to get is scrolling past. That usually works best. Once you get it, hit the SAVE button, since you don’t want to have to do that again. :P
8) Back out and go through the door.

Now you’re in room 3.

1) Click the white and blue thing on the stool in the right corner. Click on the top of it to look in, then click just behind it to zoom in on the bottom, then click the purple thing to collect it. Back out 3 times. Click under the stool and collect the piece of paper there.
2) Turn left, then click the bottom of the screen to look down. Click the yellow chair seat to push it out of the way. Not really sure the trick to the next part – click the left corner of the purple sheet to turn on the pinkish circle. Click the right corner to turn on one there. Click in the middle, as well. The goal is to pull the purple sheet out. Try clicking like crazy til it works.
3) Now the table looks like the letter P.
4) Back out and turn left. The door you came through (on the left of the screen) has a white thing stuck in the crack near the top. Click on this to collect it. It’s a piece of paper with what looks like an 8 on it with a bunch of symbols.
5) Click on the box on the wall with the 4 numbers. The symbols above the numbers tell you which lines on the “8” to turn “on”, like a digital clock. For example, a double circle and a square would end up being a 1. For those who don’t want to figure it out, the code is 6935.
6) Click on the top of the box, click the blue panel and click the laser pointer to collect it. Back out and turn right to face the locked door.
7) Click down to see the table with the glass on it. Put the purple item into the glass.
8) Back out, turn right and click on the blue stick. Click your laser pointer and click the blue thing a few times. The laser pointer gets mounted and shoots light into the prism in the glass which then shoots the door, causing it to unlock.
9) Back out, turn left and go out the door into the hall.

Turn left in the hallway, go to the end and turn right into room 4.
Show

1) Turn left and click down to see the item in the middle of the room. Click under it on the left and move the stopper from under the wheel.
2) Back out once and click under the right side. Click the wheel to get the piece of paper. Back out once again.
3) Click the edge of the bed to kick it up against the wall. Pick up the rubber stopper.
4) Click the bed to lie down. Notice the E on the ceiling.
5) Back out twice and turn right twice. Go into the hallway ahead of you and go forward til you get 3 arrows: right, down and left. Go right. Zoom in on the box on the wall.
6) Click above or below the letters to change them. You’re spelling the word “SPACE” (if you remember all the letters that we found throughout the building and use the gray paper to put them in order by where you found them, that’s what you get).

Go back to the second room (with the shelves in the corner with the spaceship).

Now when you open the panel on the wall, there’s a green thing and a card. Pick up the card.

At this point, you should have the following usable items:

-The Roman Numeral conversion sheet
-The 4 papers, one from each room, with a word and 5 lines of letter combinations from those words
-The rubber stopper
-The card that says you passed node-01

The green thing has four circles on it. Click on them to reveal spots to put numbers in. The code comes from the papers and the shapes of numbers that the letters make on the paper (ignoring N usually, but not always).
