Neverending Light - Part 1Neverending Light - Part 1A guided tour goes horribly wrong in Neverending Light – Part 1, the first installment in the new Neverending Light trilogy created by Jiggmin.

The action takes place in a dark cave in which you find yourself trapped with only a flashlight to help you!

Be warned, this first part is is dark in both senses and there is plenty of blood here!

Use the arrow keys or the AWSD keys to move around, aim with your mouse and click to attack (you can’t attack until you get a weapon).

Collect all 49 sprites and save Anabel in this atmospheric and immersive game.

Looking forward to playing the next installment soon!

Have fun!

worst controls ever. and keeps freezing/lagging on my computer

  3. DaRkMaN says:

    YOUR PC :)

I finished it with 38-49 spirit droppings?

  4. Crool says:

I agree wit Jeep, bad controls. Got 39 spirtits, will be continued?! didn’t like this game at all. Got to things not turved on (last name and 3x?) at the end.

  5. newcomer says:

same here..worst and bad control…. not interested in playing the next game..

  6. miacat says:

too bad… I really DID like the game (although it was a little annoying to walk around and around and around till I got that weapon) – but finally I quit with 48 spirits because the fighting started to suck. How long do you have to smash the beast over and over again, and why can’t you just stand where you are?

  7. Spiritsoul says:

Got 39 droppings, controls sucks like ass.

  8. acerview says:

Controls are fine. Found 39/49, Found the girl, Need a weapon? Anyone know where the weapon is?

  9. Crool says:

@acervieuw, yes there was a weapon a little bit to the south-west of the place where you found the girl the first time. It’s blinking.

  10. frisky armadillo says:

    45/49 so close>_<
anyone know where they all are?

  11. hootie says:

    goes* :(

  14. Paul says:

    I had 45/49 too :)

  15. *.* says:

I think that the people who had problems with the controls may have issues with processor speed or something. I had a lot of lag between the sound and video, so I closed all applications except the browser and it improved. Still wasn’t able to move the flashlight while walking when the monster was on the screen.

I was only able to find 42/49 droppings. Tasselfoot’s video was no help to me in that regard, as it was jumpy and also audio/video was out of sync . How about a video of the extra content unlocked by getting all the droppings?

  16. Tasselfoot says:

The extra content really isn’t that great…

    Show

Not sure why you had issues with the video… I just re-watched it again, and there’s no jumpiness and there’s practically no sync issues between the audio/video (MAYBE half a second… you can’t really even notice it). Seems like issues on your end, not with the video.

  17. Miss D says:

I’m not a fan of this, bad and slow controls, vague story, fighting in the end. Not my cup of tea.

  18. Toxic says:

I’m using a 10 year old ‘puter (with a 350Mhz processor!), so there was a helluva lot of lag tween the audio and video…
Then, when the lights went out, the game froze :-(

  19. hsdfhs says:

    49/49

  20. Vicious says:

i beeten the game pretty easly and i like it to kill the onster hit the back of it it will take alittle bit but if your pashint you can kill it

  21. Katt says:

Not a bad concept, but I’m not sure how good the controls were, or how well parts of it were executed…
    Definitely worth a try though.

  22. gman says:

can’t for the life of me find the weapon

  23. Lithas says:

Find the monsters that Anabel killed, and go up and to the right a little ways.

  24. blank says:

firefox 3 worked better than firefox 2; the latter was very jumpy and slow.

  25. nathan says:

yeah i got all of the sprites and won the game perfectly:)

  26. ImbeuriiNG says:

Controls were fine. WASD or Arrow keys is used in tons of flash based games, even combined with the mouse combo. If it gives you problems, you may want to upfate your flash player/internet browser/computer system/taste in controls, because these controls were standard.

I notice a lot of people having trouble finding the weapon…

Very nice game, even if it was short. A little cliche maybe, but with a lemon twist.

  27. KC says:

Okay; the monster keeps kicking my ass. I can’t get close enough to bash him with the arm, because he keeps knocking me away.

  28. Ashley says:

Hey, any of you guys know where the weapon to hit the monster is.-I’m clueless.

  29. Shataki Guard says:

all you need to do is to hit it on the tail and after 4 or 3 hits you get it to a place where a huge rock face that eat its

  30. ME says:

THE WEAPON IS THE ARM FROM WHERE SHE KILLED THE MONSTER if finally got it

  31. nzca says:

I completed the game with all 49 droppings and saw part 2 trust me it is awesome!!!!!!!!!!

  32. Carlos says:

I agree with the other players ,the controls suck but other than that i realy liked the game! can’t wait for the next one!

  33. Senator XXX says:

This game is awesome. No Lag. No freezing, and most importantly i got 49/49 to get the info for part 2.

    Bad coding?

  36. tristan says:

i think that was a pretty easy game except me almost getting killed through out the game. and cindy one more thing you to click or pick it up you walk on it.

  37. Artisan says:

Wow…this game was really not that difficult, and I found all the sprite droppings the second time around. Can’t wait to see a sequel.
