As mentioned in Wikipedia, “Doom is a 1993 computer game by id Software that is a landmark title in the first-person shooter genre, and in first person gaming in general.
It is widely recognized for pioneering immersive 3D graphics, networked multiplayer gaming on the PC platform, and support for custom expansions.”
I played Doom a lot with it was first released, and I couldn’t resist to host this Flash version of the original game on FGN’s server, just for fun!
Ok, it’s violent and bloody, ok it’s not recommended for children, ok it’s a 15 (fifteen!) years old game, but oldies are goodies, and this Flash version is the exact replica of the original!

Guess it’s a demo or something, only a part of the first level. Some of the keys don’t work, can’t open doors and you can’t strafe because the game requires use of the Alt key which, instead, takes you to the tool bar. Shot a few barrels though.
just press “r” to open doors it is kind of like an action button but not all doors will open. hope this helped!

@FD – the Alt key doesn’t work, so you can’t strafe, correct. But you can open doors with the space bar (not all doors can be opened!) and it’s not a demo version but the FULL version of the original game!
Full version with the hidden rooms and all? I can’t get out of the first area.
FD – Common, it took me only 30 seconds to escape from the hangar (1st level) in hurt me plenty mode! Keep trying!

Oooh yeah! I remember this from when I was a kid! I would watch my older brother play it then I’d try, die, cry, then he would come over and input the cheats!

Uhh, you press R to open doors, not space.. :/
never been able to get out first room on any of the flash games i tried for years from various sites like kongagames, the first door just wouldn’t open, spacebar key just shoots, and they all seem to have been converted by same person. finally found a version where i could get out of first room using spacebar. that version uses control key to shoot.
