PragarasPragarasPragaras is the latest surreal adventure game developed by the 3j, Jurgis Jonaitis, Justinas Malijonis, and Jurgis Tamulis , the creators of Miestas and Menulis.

“This is an interactive journey through twisted and unusual world. During this journey you will see various social and global problems. Your objective isn’t to solve them all, just simply pay some attention”, the authors said.

Use the arrow keys to move and press X to interact or accept an action. You can check your inventory at anytime by pressing the Z key.

Once again, Pragaras is a very stange and unique game. This third game is now in color and the hand-drawn graphics are better than ever.

If you liked Menulis and Miestas, you will like Pragaras more!

Have fun!

Note: please be patient while the game is loading…

Update: some scenes may offend some viewers.

    First!

  2. emilia says:

second and i am so stuck I’m in the cardboard room with the huge plug help?

  3. Jade says:

    You have to Show

  4. emilia says:

    thanks

  5. Jade says:

Welcome. I’m stuck at the scales.

  6. Jade says:

    I’m out. What a strange little game…

  7. SuzieGirl64 says:

Abortion scene too vile for words. I wanted to play a game not be subjected to somebody’s political or moral views.

  8. Jade says:

I’m with you on that. There should be some sort of rating or warning on this one. I beat it, and I’m glad, but I wouldn’t let my daughter play it.

  9. myrdlebp says:

    I just don’t get it………………

  10. NetMonster says:

I thought of that scene as being more metaphorical, as in “you are born and then you are immediately pushed into a soul-crushing system”.

  11. NetMonster says:

    I’m stuck being a fish…

  12. NetMonster says:

Hm, I played it again and I agree, the scene is clearly about abortions (I wasn’t paying attention the first time). I agree with the people who posted earlier.

  13. Jade says:

It’s hard to steer the fish. Just keep pusing the directional arrows… That’s what I had to do. And the X button.

I understand the metaphorical aspect of the game, I really do. But it is pretty graphic. I haven’t played these boys’ other two games, but they seem very in tune for 17 year old kids.

  14. Jade says:

And it really could go either way I think. Because abortion doesn’t really seem to fit in with the rest of the theme of the game. It’s more about not giving a dang about anybody or anything, and having no emotion about it.

  15. Jade says:

OK, I replayed too. Scratch that last one.

  16. Fanny says:

i still dont get the fish part. keeps turning around itself

  17. Jade says:

Try holding the down and right or left key at the same time.

  18. Fanny says:

i try, but nothing – doesnt seem to affect it. only up key and right or left key makes him spin.

  19. NetMonster says:

I got it by keeping the up key pressed, sometimes together with left or right. Down didn’t seem to work for me.

  20. Doc says:

There are some mechanized images of assembly line abortion depicted, but the further you get into the game the more you might realize that the message is one of dark anarchy. Violence against society is permitted by the theme character, even as the message being stated is anti-war, anti-capitalism, and anti-just about everything. The end of the game depicts dire violence by parents, decadence of all types…. The creators apparently have a gloomy view of the world. Yes, our world has problems, but anarchy would result in the death of millions, if not billions.

Bottom line, this is one of the most depressing games I’ve ever played! Too bad the creators got so wrapped up in a warped political theme, instead of remembering that their goal is entertainment rather than spreading a gloomy, negative, message. It is kind of an intellectual Chicken Little with blood.

  21. jackivee says:

I can’t get passed the scale.

  22. Marcel says:

erm how do u beat the pary AFTER you free the turtle wat do u do>?

  23. A says:

I just finished the game. What is this abortion thing y’all are talking about?

  24. Rae says:

I liked Menulis and Miestas, but I didn’t like this one too much.
    to A – Show

  25. A says:

Ohhhh. I feel so stupid now. I remember watching that scene the first time I played, and I had absolutely no idea what was going on.

  26. Jade says:

    Jackivee, you have to Show

    Then you Show

    Show

    Hope that helped!

  27. Zachary says:

I understood the abortion thing, but I don’t see it as the author taking a positive or negative view–he over-convenienced it, but he didn’t say it was right or wrong. He commented that we’re desensitized to it, which we are.

I didn’t see anything about criminal anarchy or parent violence.

  28. Emina says:

I must agree that it is a depressing game. And well the world is kinda depressing nowadays. And I agree with Jade, it would be better if there is a warning first. So people who are already depressed and finding fun games to play so they can feel better can avoid this game until they are ready try playing it. But well, the game shows what’s happening to the world right now and for people who already played it (including me), I guess we’ll just have do face the fact and deal with it or maybe one of us can make a difference someday. : )

  29. 3j says:

This game was made by, Jurgis Jonaitis, Justinas Malijonis AND Jurgis Tamulis (there are three of us this time). We would appreciate if you would fix that slight mistake.

    Edit: done!

  30. Suppr says:

Very good game all true ;) good job

  31. keLp says:

    i liked it.
although i’m not sure if i’ve finished it or not
does it just end with the word STOP?

  32. spi says:

no, type the letters STOP, i’m stuck after the war screen, but give up, i wanted to play, and this is not a game… no fun

  33. Bigcall says:

yeah… how do you get past the part where it was a mirage and the people are stuck in box thingies?

  34. aliceboy says:

Very neat, if bleak and surreal, game. The politics are what they are. If you don’t like them, just don’t read the subtitles and enjoy it for its strangeness and Show

Oh, and is the title some strange phonetic spelling of ‘Progress,’ or really something in the designers’ native tongue?
