   walkthrough
   Show

   1. go right. pick up rock from behind tree.
   2. go right.pick up rock and rice stack. click tree get silk worm from grass.
   3. go left twice. put rice on stool. put silk worm on leaves. click rock until lion eats rice. get sharp stone
   4. go forward and get rock
   5. go back and as far rigt as possible then place stones to get to stick
   6. go left twice. hit beehive with stick and then hit bee. collect antlers.
   7. use sharp stone on antlers, get silk from silk worm
   8. combine hook, silk and stick to make fishing rod
   9. catch fish feed to on of the cats attacking the turtle and then catch another fish and feed to the other cat and free the turtle

    Walkthrough (not perfect clear)

    Go right. Take the big stone (in the bottom left, partly obscured by the tree).

    Go right. Take the rice ball and the big stone. Shake the tree, click the patch of grass, and take the silkworm. Back out, shake the tree, click the patch of grass, take the beetle, and back out again.

    Go left twice. Click the middle of the screen. Put the rice ball on the stand, then click the stand. Put the silkworm on the leafy branch, take the sharp stone, and take the silkworm. Look at the worm (select it, then click “?”), and take the string.

    Click the cave mouth. Take the big stone. Back out.

    Go right three times. Use the big stones on the stone-shaped shadows. Get the branch.

    Go left twice. Use the stick on the hive. Click the bee, then take the antler. Look at the antler and use the sharp stone on it. Use the string on the branch, then use the hook on the branch.

    Also, you can get a second string from the silkworm and a third fish from the pond, but I don’t know if they are used to get a better ending.

    I know the last three characters in the ending text basically mean “to be continued,” but I don’t know if that means that there will be a sequel, or if it is a hint that there is a better ending.

    When you get to the part with the antlers, everyone keeps mentioning the sharp stone. Where is it and/or how do I get it?

    You can get four fish, put the third on the stool by the tree and then get a fourth. I don’t know what to do with that one and the end didn’t change.

    after the silkworm eats the mulberry leaves, a sharp stone is revealed. You use that stone to carve the antlers into a fishhook.

    Put the silkworm on the leaves in the cave and then you get the stone and can get a string from the worm.

    still cant do nowt with gold beetle so may be there be a sequal who knows

    snowman put the silk worm on leafs ( screen where u place the rice on stool ist screen ) it eats the leafs ya get the sharp object

    I found what goes in the last inventory slot, I’m just not sure how I got it. Show

    I got the third and fourth fish and the second string. I put the third fish on the stool by the statue, then I clicked around a bit. At some point, I clicked the grass under the tree again (where the silkworm and the gold beetle fell), and there was another beetle there – a blue one called a “beetle of diamond”.

    I just found a 2nd beetle, called an “insect of dimond”.
    Aftering puting the turtle in the shell, go back to the tree and look in the grass.
    I have found 4 fish but don’t know what to do with the 4th yet.

    If you end after finding the 4th fish, the 2nd string and the 2nd beetle. The statue from next to the tree shows up holding both beetles with sun rays from behind it. I don’t read Japanese, but I’m guessing that this is the “good” or “perfect” end.

    Give the Buddha a fish to get a perfect score (after doing so, don’t forget to pick up the second beetle in the grass.

    while you do need to give a fish to the Buddha, that’s not what makes the second insect appear. To put it in math terms, it’s necessary but not sufficient.

    After feeding the statue, go click the turtle *once* to make him come out of his shell (but don’t click him a second time because the game will end). Then go back to the tree and the second bug should be there.

    Oh, wait – correction: Show

    It is not necessary to give the Buddha a fish to get the diamond insect. The second beetle appears if and only if you’ve made the turtle emerge from its shell.

    If you don’t feed the statue, however, you get the incomplete ending (turtle swimming away, not happy Buddha with bugs).

    I had to use the walkthrough, but from everyone’s hints I found the “perfect” ending, the one with the Buddha statue and the two beetles. This is a cute game, and the creator of this game seems to have a soft spot for fairy tales–in this case, the tale of Urashima Taro (go look it up on Wikipedia or Google if you want to know what it’s about). I hope that Minoto-san continues to make cute room escape games like these!

    (And by the way, yes, the text at the bottom of the screen in the Buddha ending does say “Perfect end”.)
