Capybara Room

Capybara Room is the first Room Escape game created by its author. The game is cute, but it’s all written in Japanese (not really a problem though). There is no story here, so you are on your own to figure out how to escape this room. All I can tell you is that the door is a fake! Have fun!

   Show

   Go right and click on picture. Click on right side of frame to turn it over. Take blue face.

   Show

   Click on lower right curtain to get black key.

   Show

   Go right and click on top right corner of door to get red key.

   Show

   Go right and click on waste basket to get blue key.

   Show

   Use black key on pink box and get gold face. Take toy hamster.

   Show

   Go back to room with window and use blue key on blue lock. Get screwdriver.

   Show

   Go back to room with couch and click on the clock. Click along the right side to turn the clock over and use screwdriver to get battery.

   Show

   View toy hamster and click to turn the remote over. Use screwdriver to open and put battery in remote. Turn the hamster right side up and click on button to get the green key.

   Show

   Click along right side of couch to reveal hidden lock. Use the red key and get pink face. Click on hamster pillow. Open zipper to get white face.

   Show

   Go back to room with window and use green key on green lock to get paper.

   Show

   Click on bottom right drawer and put faces in puzzle in the order they are in. 1 = gold; 2 = pink; 3 = white; 4 = blue. Button will turn green.

   Show

   Go right to room with door and you will see tracks on the floor.

    im stuck im assuming when u say click on hamster pillow u mean the one on sofa,well ive clicked it and not getting the zipper to get white face

    almost made it w/ no walkthrough… i was stuck and then i saw the caption about the door being fake and that helped me. in this game you have to click very specific areas i tried clicking on the Show

    curtain

    but i found nothing. w/ the when i found that out i was able to beat the game no prob.

    I pretty much beat the game, but when I Show

    opened the safe with the red key, all there was was a pink button.

    I tried clicking on it, but nothing happened!

    Very specific clicking indeed. Even with the walk-thru it was hard to find just the right spot to click on most items.

    Felt like doing a walkthrough, here you go.
    WALKTHROUGH:
    [I] The Black Key:
    Show

    Turn right and click on lower part of right curtain. Take black key.

    [II] The Blue Key:
    Show

    Turn right twice and look in the trashcan. Get the blue key.

    [III] The Blue Hamster:
    Show

    Turn to the window and click on the picture frame. Click to the right of the picture frame and take the blue hamster.

    [IV] The White Hamster:
    Show

    Turn to the couch and click to the right of it. Click on hamster pillow. Open zipper for white hamster.

    [V] The Red Key and The Battery:
    Show

    Turn to the window and use blue key on blue lock. Take the screwdriver. Turn to the couch and click on clock. Click on right side of clock and use screwdriver on bolt. Take the battery and flip over the panel for the red key.

    [VI] The Orange Key:
    Show

    Turn to the door and click on upper-right part. The “door” flips to find the orange key.

    [VII] The Green Key:
    Show

    Turn to the pink box and take the robot hamster. Click on hamster, then about item. Click hamster’s leg. Open panel with screwdriver and put in the battery.
    Turn the hamster right-side up and press button on remote. Take green key.

    [VIII] The Yellow Hamster:
    Show

    Open the pink box with the black key. Take the yellow hamster.

    [IX] The Pink Hamster:
    Show

    Click to the right of the couch and open the safe with the orange key. Take the pink hamster.

    [X] The Japanese Note:
    Show

    Turn to the window and use green key on green lock. Take the Japanese note. Look at it if you wish.

    [XI] Hamster Time:
    Show

    Look in bottom-right cabinet and here are where you should put the hamsters. 1- Yellow 2- Pink 3- White 4- Blue. If done correctly, the button will turn green.

    [XII] Freedom:
    Show

    Turn to the “door” and use red key on safe. Push the button, and you can go out through secret exit. NOTE: Sometimes the button will not work for some odd reason…

    What worked for me in getting the white hamster face was …. Clicking the side of the couch to get a side angle of the cushion. Then clicking the back crease of the couch which is just to the side of the cushion. You then get a view of the back of the cushion, showing the zip.

    click the pillow from the view where you are looking at the safe behind the couch

    wen u press the green button in the draw u need to go to door then press the pink thing in the red safe and a door will appear

    I couldnt turn over the toy hamster !! But you can still do the game without the note so it good! I wouldnt say it was a cute game though, to pink for me…

    The Show

    Japanese note just gives you a clue to the order of the Capybara faces. It says something like – ##Month ##Day I went to the zoo today, the Capybara’s in the hot spring were very cute. According to the attendent they are brothers. The one with the fair complexion is the third eldest, the one with the pink face is next oldest. The one with the sick looking face is fourth. The eldest’s favourite food is an orange. Would you like to eat some orange’s, Capybara?

    I just fed the original through google translator and tried to make some sense of it so this is in no way exact but at least you have an idea of what it says if you were wondering ^_^.
