Chinese Checkers is a classic board game that can be played by two to six people. The game does not actually originate from China but was given that name in the United States to make it sound more exotic.

The object is to move all of your pieces from your home point, across to your goal point. Pieces can move to any adjacent spaces, or jump over any adjacent pieces. You can make multiple piece jumps per move, and can jump any pieces on the board. Pieces may travel through other players’ home points but can’t stay there.

With this nice Flash implementation, first select your color and then select a 2, 3, 4 or 6 player game. Other opponents are played by the computer. When it is your turn, first click on the piece you want to move. Next, click the hole you wish to move or jump to. To make a multiple jump, keep clicking the holes along the path you wish to jump. To complete your move, double-click or click into the last hole to jump into, depending if your piece can still keep moving or not. The winner is the one who was able to move all his pieces first to the goal point.

If you are a fan of board games, Chinese Checkers will be a very nice way to kill time for twenty minutes or more.
