   I’m stuck after I Show

   got the thermometer from the bed, heated the thermometer to 38.7C, got the hints for the lock and password, got the hiragana, got the pencil and piece of paper in the top drawer of the desk.
   I could never figure out the password if it wasn’t for DNOMN8R’s first post, but using it I managed to draw the ingredients for some kind of food.

   i’m stuck at the same place bogdan is, but i can’t seem to figure out how to heat the thermometer…how do you heat it? and what does that sign in the kitchen mean…”look down”?

   To heat the thermometer:
   — Go to the kitchen
   — Click the button on the stove
   — Click the thermometer in your inventory
   — Click one of the flames (the blue/red spots that appear on the stove after clicking its botton).
   You’ll see a hand holding the thermometer above the flames and you’ll get a message at the bottom of the screen saying that it’s not a prank on fire but on the thermometer. Click the arrow at the end of the message to finish heating the thermometer.

   I’ve no idea what “LOOK DOWN” could mean. I looked down in every spot of the game and found nothing.

   What I am trying to do right now is to interpret the hint for the lock. For now I’m clueless on that. Could you help me somehow?

   the look down-note is to get the password to the computer, where you, if you look down when you’re about to type in the password, will go to a picture of a keyboard that’ll help you to figure out the password.

   well, i think the code has something to do with the arrangement of books on the shelves, but i can’t figure out a connection between the two…what have you come up with?

   The hint for the lock

   Each one is a letter. Look at your keyboard and follow the letter. For example
   Q E
   AS
   Z C
   It forms a K

   So the code is

    lock code Show

    the hint look down tells you to look at your keyboard. The paper with the lock on it has three parts. I’ll give you the second one. EFTFC. If you put your finger on each of those letters on you keyboard, you are making a letter Y, which is the second letter to the code.

    After Show

    opening the drawer (thanks, Denny!) I got the purse and the paper and turned to face the window. Guardian Ghost entered the room through the window. I gave him the thermometer and he went shopping. He lost the money in a pond. I got some mushroom near a tree and clicked a tree. GG hits the tree and gets a stick which turns into a fishing rod using the thread and needle the god from the water gave to GG after loosing the purse.
    Now I’m stuck again: the fish says (yes, a fish can talk in this game! :-D ) that I can’t fish it using just a needle.
    I’ll try to see what I can do about it.

    Has anyone figured out what to do after Show

    you get back to the room with the fish and the mushrooms? It won’t let me go in the kitchen, and there doesn’t seem to be anything else I can do. There isn’t room in my inventory for anything else, so I don’t think I missed an item anywhere. The only active items left are the fish, mushrooms, and cattail, and I’ve clicked literally *everywhere* with them – nothing doing.

    Walkthrough:
    Show

    — From intro: Zashiki-Warashi is cooking today!
    — Click the drawers of the computer-desk and get the hint for password and the hiragana (bottom drawer) and the pen and paper from the top one.
    — Click the computer and enter the password. It’s 7pqeu (thanks, DNOMN8R !)
    — Click the browser icon (at the right of the “Start” buton), then click the “Tools” menu, then the “Favorites” command.
    — Click the pen and paper in your inventory then click the anywhere on the computer screen: you’ll get a drawing of a mushroom anf a fish. Click the “Start” button to go back
    — Turn right, get the hint for the lock combination.
    — Turn left twice and enter the kitchen. Read the notes on the wall.
    — Go back and face the dresser. Open it.
    — You can get the lock combination by looking at the keyboard (remember the “LOOK DOWN!!!” note in the kitchen?) and see what letter is formed by folloeing the keys with the letters in the hint note. Example for the middle one: folowing from E to F, to T, to F and to C makes up the letter Y (thanks, Denny!)
    — Open the lock and get the purse and the note.
    — Face the bed and click its end. Get the thermometer.
    — Go to the kitchen, click the boton on the stove, click the thermometer in your inventory then click the flame.
    — Go back and face the window. GG will enter the room through the window.
    — Give the thermometer to GG and he will go to find the ingredients, but loses the purse in a pond; instead he gets a thread and a needle from a character in the water.
    — Get the mushroom by the rightmost tree then click the tree itself to get a stick.
    — Use the thread and needle on the stick to make a fishing rod.
    — Use the fishing rod on the water; when the fish appears and says that you cannot catch it with a needle, give it the note from the locked drawer. You’ll catch the fish.
    — Take a foxtail from the shore and go back home.
    — Go left to face GOW and click him. Talk to him, then go back to face Ninja.
    — Use the foxtail on Ninja and GOW will try to dance. After he falls down exhosted, enter the kitchen. When Zashiki-Warashi gets the pan, click the faucet.
    — Click the knife in the cupboard under the sink.
    — Now you have to make 4cc of Soy and 1 cc of Mirim. You can make them like that:
    –For the Soy:
    1 From bottle to 5cc measure;
    2 From 5cc measure to 3cc measure;
    3 From 5cc measure to 10cc measure;
    4 From 3cc measure to botle;
    5 Repeat steps 1 to 3.
    –For the Mirim:
    1 Repeat steps 1 to 5 from the Soy, but instead of the Soy bottle, click the other one;
    2 From 10cc measure to 3cc measure.
    — Now GOW will try the soup. Keep clicking the arrows (and read the text, it’s funny!) until Ninja asks what the mushroom lokked like, then click the red with yellow spots one.
    — Click the arrows again (and read the text!) until you finish the game.

    If anyone really wants to know, here’s how I figured out the computer password:

    First I tried interpreting the symbols with the hiragana, but it didn’t work. Then I clicked the arrow on the screen of the computer in the game which led me to a Wikipedia picture containing Japanese symbols on a keyboard, which gave the password.
