I don’t think anyone will need it, but here is a walkthrough anyway.
Show

Click the bottom part of the oven and get a crowbar.
In the trashcan is the present.
Click to the right of the bookcase and get scissors.
Use the crowbar to remove board under TV and get key.
Use scissors on present to get cake.
Use key on chest to get mallet.
Use mallet on big vase in front of tree.
Click the back part of the tree where the vase was (TAB key is a help here) and get fork.
Use fork on cake to get key.
Use key on door.

I’m not sure which magnifying glass you mean, but I think it is probably a red herring.

Walkthrough:
1. Show

Turn right twice and look under the oven. Take the crowbar. Now look in the trashcan and take the present.

2. Show

Turn right and click on the right of the bookcase. Take the scissors. Use the scissors on present and take the cake.

3. Show

Now use crowbar on panel under TV. Take the key under TV.

4. Show

Turn to the chest and use the key on it. Take the hammer.

5. Show

Turn to the pot and crush it with the hammer. Click on the right part of the brick pot and take the fork.

6. Show

Eat the cake with fork, and then open door with key. Yay!

Reka, you can use the magnifying glass on Show

the calendar by the door (at least, I think it’s a calendar). You get some text below (sorry, can’t read it) and the magnifying glass goes away.

Yeah, pretty useless.

For those who are curious and still playing this game…Show

Once you find the magnifying glass and click the calender, the text beneath simply states that the 31 of December has been circled and that this is the date that the movie opens.
