   Apparently not…

   I’ve gotten out, but there was some guessing involved because I couldn’t find some of the color codes.

   Note that this game is a bit buggy – you can collect certain things over and over again, your keys stop working after you’ve used the next key, and I got into some sort of very strange state with the green box on the wall – blank screen, but my inventory is still there. Had to completely restart my browser to fix it.

   Not a walkthrough, just what I’ve found:

   Note that there are two boxes that need to opened with codes/passwords: there’s a blue box in the dresser, and there’s a green box on the shelf on the wall (next to the plate). The blue box will open if you press its buttons in the correct sequence. The green box needs an object to put in the hole, and a password.

   Blue box codes: underneath table, on edge of rug when you’re facing the wall shelf, on the frame of the big picture on the wall, on a leaf of the potted plant. The numbers and their position give the order of button presses, so it’s middle-middle-right-left.

   Green box: you’ll need the nail from the shoe, for which you’ll need the pliers. Look at the plastic cup on the table. Use the nail on it. Get the white ball from the yellow goo. The password is on the paper you get out of the upper right dresser drawer (red key). Hint: the password is five letters; you’re given five equations. Hint 2: 1 = a.

   Keys: get knife from behind TV cart. Use knife on end of bed to get green key. Use green key on top left drawer. Open blue box to get yellow key. Use yellow key on middle door of dresser to get hammer. (There’s a cryptic note, upside-down, along the top: “magnifying glass?” I haven’t figured this part out yet.) Use hammer on TV cart to get red key. Use red key on top right drawer to get paper with equations and the pliers.

   Color shapes: dark green square on wall with door. Card with black shape (2-sided) between dresser and wall (face the dresser, click on the far right). Heptagon (7-sided figure) on candy behind pink plate on wall. Red octagon inside green box. Blue thingamabob (1-sided figure) on pillow. Periwinkle triangle from follow-the-path puzzle on TV. Pentagon on plastic cup from which you can get yellow goo.

   The number of sides on the color shapes give the order you need to press the colored buttons on the wall.

   I’m missing:
   – By process of elimination, there ought to be a light green hexagon somewhere.
   – Can’t find magnifying glass, so I can’t read the tiny writing on the plant pot.

   There’s a light green smudge on the back of the card with black shape. It’s not a hexagon by any stretch of the imagination, but the color does seem to be the missing one.

   Tiny writing on plant pot! Drag magnifying glass onto it. It will show an equation.

   Can’t find the pliers??? Think there’s supposed to be something at the bottom of the bed as my curser changes but nothing…
   I’ve got everything else :(

   Also if you don’t get everything out of drawers you can’t go back and have to start all over again. Poo!

    I still haven’t found the last shape yet though… and I’m not sure what that equation means just yet.

    2+6=8=h. h is the 8th letter of the alphabet. It’s a hint about the numbers corresponding to letters in the green box password.

    For the light green – another forum suggested that the smudge on the back of the black shape card indicated that you had to guess at the light green’s value. It seems to make sense.

    Thanks, Andy! Guess that was too obvious for me. :)

    So, just to summarize everything, here’s a walkthrough.

    Show

    1. Look at underside of table for 1st part of blue box code. Look at green thing on wall for 1st part of color code.
    2. Turn right. Get knife from behind tv stand. Look at TV to get 2nd part of color code. Look at picture frame (bottom right corner) to get 2nd part of blue box code. Look at pillow to get color code #3.
    3. Turn right. Use knife on end of mattress to get green key. Click underneath plate to get candy, which is color code #4. Look at base of plant pot; drag magnifying glass onto writing to get a hint for the green box code. Look at end of carpet to get blue box code #3.
    4. Turn right. Look at plant leaves for the final blue box code. Click to the right of the dresser to get card with color code #5. Look at card in your inventory and click it until it flips to get color clue #6 (you’re not given the actual code, the question mark means you need to figure it out). Use the green key on the top left drawer to see blue box; based on the codes you’ve collected, press the buttons in the correct sequence to open the box. Get yellow key. Use yellow key to open the middle door, get hammer.
    5. Turn around to face TV; use hammer to break glass and get red key. Turn back to dresser and use red key on bottom right drawer. Get clue sheet for green box password. Get pliers. Pick up left shoe and use pliers to remove nail.
    6. Turn right. Pick up plastic cup and use the nail on it to get color code #7. Get white ball from yellow goo; this is the last part of the green box code.
    7. Turn around to face green box. Figure out the password based on the clue sheet with the equations and the hint from the flower pot. Look at green box and use the white ball in the top depression. Type the password followed by a space, per the instructions. Get the card from inside the box for the last color code.
    8. Turn right to face the colored dots on the wall. Use the color codes to figure out what order to press the dots. (Note that if you’re doing it correctly, the pointer behaves differently than if you made a mistake. If you do make a mistake, back out and come back to reset.)
    9. Get the key. Turn right, use it on the door. Ta-da!

    Note that the above walkthrough still requires you to figure out the codes yourself. If you need help, read on.

    Blue box Show

    press the buttons in this order: middle-middle-right-left.

    Green box Show

    The hint on the flower pot says that the numbers you get from the equations give the letter of the alphabet, i.e. h is the 8th letter. The equations on the sheet give the numbers 16, 5, 1,18, 12, which spells “pearl”.

    Color codes Show

    There are 8 dots on the wall. From top to bottom, the colors are pink, blue, yellow, dark green, black, red, light green, and purple. (Well, periwinkle, but anyway.)

    Looking at the codes in same order as the walkthrough, we have a dark green square, a purple triangle, a blue teardrop (for lack of a better term), a pink heptagon (the 7-sided figure on the candy which you get from behind the pink plate), a black semicircle-like thing, a light green unknown shape, a yellow pentagon, and a red octagon.

    Each figure has a different number of sides (or corners, if you prefer), and you have one shape for every number between 1 and 8, except for 6. So the light green must be the 6 (hexagon). Putting it all together, the order is:
    Blue, black, purple, dark green, yellow, light green, pink, red.
