Gold Digger is a Dutch clone (some would say rip off) of the famous Gold Miner, an arcade game released more than three years ago.
The goal here remains the same: use your claw and reel to mine gold and other treasures out of the earth. The claw doesn’t stop swinging back and forth and all you have to do is to click at the right time to stop the claw from swinging and start lowering it.
Just like in the original game, each level (15 in total) provides a target amount of money that you must collect within 60 seconds. If you don’t meet the goal by the end of the level, the game is over. Your money carries over from on level to the next one.
Gold Digger is not innovative by any means, but if you are a Gold Miner fan, you won’t be disappointed by this one!

Guide for those who can’t read Dutch:
Gold, silver, and diamonds are worth a lot, according to their size.
Rocks are worth much less and are heavier (so they go up slower).
The mystery bag can be worth anything or contain an item.
Mice are $3, but their crowns are worth more.
The lamp gives you a lot of money, but you also get a temporary curse of pulling things up slower.
The barrel explodes.
Stuff you can buy:
Bomb (you start with one; unused bombs carry over to the next level) - blow up something you’ve grabbed but don’t want to pull up (like big stones).
The rest of the items are good for one level only.
Red potion - increases your speed at pulling up items.
Sight - gives a line of sight so it’s easier to aim.
Four-leaf clover - gold and silver are worth more. (I assume, by process of elimination. The translation “cremations” really doesn’t make sense.)
Book (guide to stones) - stones are worth more.
Jar of green stuff - diamonds are worth more.
I need made it to the end of the game, but I failed the last level with 27820 points.^-^ I love it, addicted to that game.
