Kaitai Dismantlement – Chapter Toaster is the eighth installment in the Kaitai Dismantlement series from Gam.eBB.

In this Point’n’Click puzzle game, as its name says, you will have to dismantle a toaster. To do so, you only have a screwdriver.

And your brain.

And that’s it! Now the question is: why would you take apart this toaster? Fans of the series know why…

   i think this is by far one of the easier ones. Messed up the end my stupidity a few times but figured out what i was doing wrong

   This one is very easy.
   But at all, we have here one of the best series of the genre. Simple, if not minimalistic, design; strong logic; always little surprise at the end. I really enjoy these games.

   Pretty easy – this was the first one I’ve completed w/o a walkthrough.

   I love this series. First one ever without exploding the bomb with totally without help.

   Normally I find these very frustrating and I need a walkthrough, but this time I read the comments first and thought it might be easier. I was so excited to do the whole thing by myself (although I did get bogged down for a couple of minutes by the puzzle with the spinning shapes). Thanks!!

   OK it’s been a while since I did a walkthrough so:

   There are only two views. The side view you start on and the right hand side end view.
   There are others zoomed in but those are the main two.

   Go look around if you want, I will try to space these out with the puzzle to solve and then the solution for people if they want to only get hints to solve it.

   Also, when you solve a puzzle and get screws, most of the time you have to undo the screws then zoom out to remove the item.

   Go to the right end and click on the flap to open it. It says FH… I BEG A CD

   Actually really simple. Just click on ABCDEFGHI to get the screws, remove them then ‘return’ to remove the flap and lock

   Toast!

   Return to the end view and click on the bar to make the toast go down

   This burns something onto the left hand slice of bread – go look at it. Reading down (as it tells you to) it says OoXoOOXo where O is a double circle, o is a circle and X is, well an X

   We use this for the front view bottom puzzle

   Click each button the number of times told to by the puzzle, so go from left to right clicking twice, once, skip, once, twice, twice, skip, once on the buttons. It goes click when you do it right

   Hit return to the side view. Remove the screws then remove the side

   Remove the bottom screw – have to zoom in to the bottom first to remove, then return to remove the bars

   Yellow… butter?

   Zoom into the yellow. Shapes rotating and a dial at the bottom you can turn

   Turn the dial the way the spinning shapes are, the number of times the sides they have. So 3 Right, 4 left, 4 right, 4 left (the arrows show you do this one next) 6 right. Remove the two screws, zoom out and remove the yellow then zoom in again

   Show

   Jam Butter Bake Bread and 2/5 3/4 1/6 3/3. Four words, four letters to get (click the panel near the bottom to see where to enter the code) and four fractions to help you get the code

   2/5 means the second letter of the five letter word

   Remove screw, close then return and remove bread

   Zoom in and remove the two screws at the top, return and remove the yellow. Zoom in on the bottom and remove the screw, return and remove the wire and zoom in

   The triangles have markings on them. Left, right, mid right, mid left?
