Escape the Ship of Doom is the third Room Escape game developed by Mad Science Industries. “Dr. Minstrel has caught you again – and trapped you on his boat! Use your best nautical skills to save your butt once again, lest you sleep with the fishes!” Have fun!

   Unfortunately, after the intro (or if I skip it) I only get a white screen (and I have the latest Flash player installed, 10,1,53,64).

   Take flippers. Click on them to put them on.

   Show

   Click painting, expose safe. Can’t use it yet.

   Show

   Click right, notice patched hole in wall.

   Show

   Click right twice. Click edge of mattress, retrieve screwdriver.

   Show

   Take bottle opener from wall.

   Show

   Click right. Water starts leaking in. Zoom in on box. Use screwdriver to open box.

   Show

   Take bottle with cork. Open bottle with bottle opener. Use cork to stop the leak on the right of the frame.

   Show

   Click left twice. Must place the right amount of weight on scale.

   Show

   Weights: 9+5+1

   Show

   Take items (swim trunks and fishing rod) from cage. Put on trunks.

   Show

   Click right. Take sextant. Examine it. Look up on ceiling. Notice symbols on ceiling. They correspond to numbers.

   Show

   Look back down at desk. Click on drawers to left. Open second drawer and remove book. Read it. It mentions four compass points in order. Remember them.

   Show

   Click right again. See hanging box. Look at fishing rod. It becomes a crank. Use the crank on the wall to lower box.

   You need a key to open the box.

   Show

   Click right. See the safe. Use the compass points you found in the book, in order.

   Show

   Answer: North, East, West, South. Take key. Use it to open the trunk. Take the acetylene torch.

   Show

   You need a code for the torch. Perhaps the ceiling is a clue, with the sextant.

   Show

   Code is 417958.

   Show

   Use lit torch to get out by patched hole.

    this game was soo fun but the end was kinda scary and why was that guy even chasing him?????

    here’s how i did it:
    Show

    -Get Flippers (put them on)
    -Click on the painting
    -Click once to the right(notice hole in the wall)
    -click to the right twice and click the left top corner of the matress on the bed(you will get a screwdriver)
    -Click on the picture of the man with the fish(you will get a bottle opener)
    -Click right(when you do this, water will start to pour into the boat)
    -Zoom in on the box
    -Now you need to unscrew the screws to get inside the box(use your screwdriver)
    -Open the bottle with the cork using your bottle opener
    -When you have the cork from the bottle,vuse it to plug the hole in the wall
    -Once you have plugged the hole, click left twice
    -Now you find yourself at a lever with a place for weights (there is a net in the water under the boat) Place the weights of 9, 5, and 1 pounds on the scale and click on the lever.
    -Once the lever is clicked, the net will come up with a fishing pole and a pair of swimming trunks
    -Pick up the objects and put on the swim trunks
    -Click on the fishing rod and you will get the handle off of the reel
    -Click right once and take the sextant and examine the animals on the bottom closely
    -Look at the ceiling(notice the symbols on what seems to be a light fixture)
    -Look back at the sextant then click the simmilar symbols in the same order
    -once this is done, look back at the desk, and click the drawers on the left
    -When you do this, you will get to 2 different drawers. Click the 2nd drawer and get the book out of it. Read the book.
    -Click out and go back to the hanging chest. Use the crank from the fishing reel as a crank for the chest.
    -Once the chest is lowered, click right and use the compass points from the book(in order: north,east,west,south)
    -Take the key and use it to open the box
    -When you have the box open, get the torch out
    -Once you have the torch, it requires a code(417958)
    -Once the code is entered correctly, it will lite
    -Go to the place with the hole in the wall and cut a whole in the metal with the torch.
    -Click outside, and you are out!!
