Is this game really free? Can you play it online? Is it safe to install? Is the installation only a trial?

  2. Trich says:

This game is a pain in the ass, if you don’t make the right purchases between rounds there’s no way you can achieve the bonus’ — no matter how quickly you click the @#$%^& mouse (that feature alone is asinine). It starts out fun enough but halfway through the second circuit it becomes very frustrating — I don’t recommend this game, in fact I curse it soundly.

  3. Julio Torres says:

Very good game. Great concept. Addictive. You can achieve all the goals only thinking on an strategy.

  4. Suzanne says:

This is a strategy and time management game. Part of the fun is figuring out which purchases to make between rounds. If you decide you made a mistake, you can always go back and return your purchase (at the same price you paid for it) and buy something else. Purchases are either revenue generating or increase speed. Sometimes one is needed more than another.

For some of the rounds, particularly in the last decade, I have to stick little post-it notes on the screen to remind me which bonus houses go where.

The only thing I have not managed to achieve, and I’ve played this game over and over, is putting people in 9 blue houses in one round. I’ve gotten up to 7 and 8 before, but have never succeeded with 9. Tips would be welcome.

Follow up — I mananged to put people in 9 blue houses! The best year to do this is 1999. You have to move fast and have three house building teams. Extra painting and garage teams are good too. You’ll also need the highest level of sale sign. Have several blue houses already completed. Put the sale sign on one and as soon as it sells be prepared to place it on the next, and then the next, so on and so forth until you have nine done.
