Adam Saltsman made Canabalt, a Platform game, in only 5 days. Your goal here is to run as far as you can: all you have to do is press [X] or [C] to jump and avoid various randomized obstacles in your path. The result is a brief but beautiful game. Oh and no, you can’t stop running! Have fun!

I find that at times you get unlucky by randomization, but overall, it’s a fantastic game, especially for being made in only 5 days.

Got to 1866m on my second attempt, then was just thinking that it was pretty easy when I ran into a bomb that suddenly dropped in front of me! :-O

You can jump the bombs. I just got 1950m and hit a bomb.
DNOMN8R, I know u can jump the bombs but I’d just landed from a big jump when it dropped and unfortunately didn’t have time to jump again :-(
Have to try again and beat 1950m tho ;-)
This is an awesome little game. The art style is like a modern version of Activision’s ancient game, Pitfall!, which I love. :D Music’s catchy, too! Well done.
