Dr Stanley’s House is a Room Escape game in Chinese that was created by James Li in May 2005.

Dr. Stanley has done brilliant research but someone is after his secret research files. Dr. Stanley hides them in his home and has a dog to keep his house safe from burglars.

The night is falling, you are a private investigator, and Dr Stanley asked you to check his house. The front door is closed and your first task is to get in. Something is going wrong in Dr Stanley’s house, and you need to do something…

Dr Stanley’s House is a very polished Room Escape game: the graphics, the atmospheric soundtrack, the cut scenes, everything in this game is perfect!

   Walkthrough:

   1. Outside 1:

   Show

   Click near right bumper of car. Pick up stick.
   Go right twice – use stick to get paper airplane.

   Show

   inspect paper airplane – code for front door

   Show

   Go back to front door – input code to get in.

   2. Indoors 1:

   Show

   Go into mute yellow door to left – pick up lighter and exit room.
   Click right arrow – then click arrows to go upstairs twice.
   Go into mute blue door – pick up teal color key.

   Show

   Go back to first area inside house – click down arrow.
   Use teal key to open and go into teal door.

   3. Teal Room:

   Show

   Look inside flower pot – pick up gray key. Now go to gray color door on same floor.

   4. Gray Room:

   Show

   Use gray key to enter room (cut scene will happen from teal room).
   Click pillow to retrieve bathroom key. Use key to open gray room bathroom door.

   Show

   Look by bathtub faucet to pick up green color key. (When you leave gray room, cut scene of dark figure opening guard dog cage happens).

   5. Green Room:

   Show

   Use green key to open green door on second floor.
   Click left arrow – use lighter to light candle – pick up meat from box.
   Go back then click right arrow (cut scene of someone breaking doorknob green doorknob happens).[spoiler]

   [spoiler] Pick up a white plate and bottle of strange sauce from counter.
   Use magnifying glass to view closeup of plate in inventory, then put meat on plate, then pour sauce on meat – now have tainted meat. Go outside through door to right.

   6. Outside 2:

   Show

   Feed dog the tainted meat. He either is knocked out or you’ve poisoned with (?). Either way, he’s out of your hair.

   Show

   Go right twice – pick up tiny blue statue.
   Now re-enter front door (must input code again).

   7. Indoors 2:

   Show

   Go to second stairwell and pick up pink colored key. Use key to open pink double doors on second floor.

   8. Pink Room:

   Show

   Pick up cup from table – now click pitcher to fill cup with water.
   Go out door to left. Pick up blue color key. Go to blue room on third floor. Use key to open door. WHAT IS THIS YOU ARE KNOCKED OUT FROM BEHIND! Don’t worry. You wake up inside gray room (you hear a horrible grimace from another room). Go back to pink room.

   9. Pink room 2nd time:

   Show

   Go into room and out door to left. SEE DEAD BODY! Oh well, his bad luck. pick up case from body. Inspect case to get back your items. Now, go back to blue room on third floor.

   10. Blue room:

   Show

   Use blue key to open door.
   Pick up brown diary from bookshelf – inspect it. Last page shows a number to be used later.
   Click right arrow, then click balcony sliding door to left. Pick up pea green color key.
   Go back inside to main blue room view – click door to the left to go out into crosswalk.
   Go up ladder – pick up orange key near chimney.
   Leave blue room and use pea green key to open door next to blue room.

   11. Pea Green room:

   Show

   Pick up phone cord. Leave room and go to orange door on same floor.

   12. Orange room:

   Show

   Use orange key to open door.
   Click down arrow then go out on balcony – see ailing old man.
   Give old man water you got from pink room.
   Now go into door behind television.
   Click on mirror to reveal room secrets.
   Enter secret code into revealed wall panel.

   Show

   Code in back of brown diary: 18668798

   Show

   Put tiny blue statue into cutout in wall.
   Now, click red button to turn off lights to reveal secret color sequence.

   Show

   If you haven’t figured it out, put colored key into their correct slots in wall as the lights out secret revealed. You have to turn the lights back on first of course.

   Show

   Pick up documents from secret safe and give them to the old man.
   BUT WAIT! He doesn’t take them. You figure out what minor thing you have to do first before he accepts documents from you. Now go to gray room.

   13. Gray Room 2nd time:

   Show

   Click to zoom in on phone – use phone cord on phone then try dialing. Phone will raise up – click on ID.

   CONGRATULATIONS!

   I can’t get the blue colour key! It keeps on saying, “You can get the key because it is outside a window.” How do I get the key?
