Virtual Families is the latest virtual life simulation game released by Last Day of Work, the team behind the very popular Virtual Villagers series, Plant Tycoon and Fish Tycoon.
In the game, players adopt a character who then begins a life: choosing if they want to marry, deciding whether to have children, furthering their career, all with the help and guidance of the player.
Virtual Families focuses on the true aspects that make a family unique, from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows, displaying life in all its drama and glory.
Virtual Families runs in true real-time, meaning that when the player’s computer is shut off, the game continues to progress, with the family members evolving and growing, based on what the player has taught them, even when no one is interacting with them. The game is set in bucolic suburbia and features a gorgeous hand-drawn scrolling map with a house and garden. It employs sophisticated artificial-intelligence and a varied selection of characters with quirky personalities to adopt and take care of.
There are various hurdles that appear throughout Virtual Families, from moral dilemmas – including whether or not to keep a package that was inadvertently delivered to your home, or if you should send your daughter to Paris for a modeling contract – to real-life situations such as illness, allergies, promotions and chores. baby bust~ simply go in the store and look at the medicines box then click on the red needle on the bottom row it will say baby boost.it cost $500.00.note some times baby boost will not work.try to only use it when your persopn is old or the doctor tells you to if u want a baby. :]
For the fountain seriously guys a baby can figure this out,when there is a fountain pump in the store buy it and put it on the fountain,put 2 people on it and theyll fix it -Cradle Of Filth rox!!!!!! (if you dont know who they are look them up)

There is another way to get money faster.
You just put your clock on your computer a couple hours ahead, then bring it back to normal time.
It gets your people exhausted and makes them grow up faster though, which is a bit of a downside.
But you do get alot of money (:

To fix the wall you need the repair kit from the store you see you must drag multiple people on it (the bucket by the sandbox) before time runs out the wall stuff only works within a short period of time. the floor is the same. except not the bucket the broken floor parts the shed there is a door knob in the sandbox no need for second one drop a person on the welcome mat at the front of the house
Claudia, your dog disappeared coz you prob. bought another pet the bird bath is a pump from store + 2 ppls the hose: buy duck tape from store and place it nearby the hose have one ppl in the shower at the same time put some1 on the hose *GASPS 4 AIR* Hope I helped,

Oh and I mean drop some1 on the knob in the sandbox first, it should say ‘fixing shed door’ then, drop some1 on mat so the can see the key and unlock the door-no need 4 2nd knob

One of my characters is ‘weak’. Her health is very low. I’ve made sure she has full bars of energy, fed and happiness but this still hasn’t helped. I’ve left her alone and not asked her to do anything but she is still ‘weak’. Is there anything I can do to boost her health or is she doomed? lol

To get money,after U drop them on a collectable, and they pick it up, PICK THEM UP! Works for new ond selling collectables. All 5 of my players are on 9th generation! All have all upgrades! How do U get the Latte trophy? I only have 1 rotten fish trophy.
OH yeah, for weak peeps, give them vitamins,the fresh fruit(mango,blood orange), the all natural candy, and only buy the organic groceries. Have someone prepare a meal and make them eat till the fed bar is full. The workshop wall- You actually have to sit and keep the circle on them,after they move 4 times and doing nothing, pick them rite up and put them on the bucket. I usually had a teen to do it so the parents could keep working. All 5 of mine are repaired.

i found the red ball, then i was throwing it around, and it reappeared in the bushes on the very top of the screen in the middle, and i lost it again, and the same thing happened. then, i lost it AGAIN but it didn’t reappear. :( i REALLY want my red ball back!!! then, i tried finding the ball where i originally found it, but there was no new red ball. has anyone ever been in this situation before? if so, please, please, PLEASE tell me how to get the red ball back!!! thanks!!!

you can’t adopt a child on purpose. if that makes sense… you can only adopt a child (as far as i know) by receiving a child on your doorstep. when it arrives (it might never, its random) you have the option to adopt it, or to reject the child. i adopted a child named Farghi, and i adopted him when he was a baby. i’m not so sure if all of the children that arrive on your doorstep are babies. hope this helps!!!

can you get a 2nd red ball??? i read that someone on here got 5 or 6 red balls. where do you get the additional red balls?!?!?
How do you “chase gofers”? I’ve tried dropping every family member over a number of generations on holes that pop up over and over again. I’ve even dropped people on the actual gophers them selves but none of the people do anything except try to fill in the holes.
Also is there a way to give my people a “serious illness”? They all just get little things which are cured easily. When do they get gravely ill? Is it just one of those chance things you have to wait for?
