   bowl and fill it with water from the barred vent on the floor. Then tip that over the wall just to the right of the vent about half way up. It reveals an X

    the letters and nubers refer to North, South, East and West, ant the West is shown to us by the ‘W’ on the wall- but I can’t figure out the order to hit the x’s

    in the grate where the water is, you have to click (i think the second from the left) a few times and it comes off. You’ll know the right one because it wobbles

    Sorry…having trouble combining……Show

    I first clicked the metal bar but when I clicked the other part it came into view and made me click the metal bar again to combine, but when I click the hole in the top of the two joined pieces nothing happens….am I missing something?

    Here’s the walkthrough:
    Show

    1. Get 1st bracket from bottom right of door. Turn left
    2. Get 2nd bracket from under bed and razor from same view in the corner beneath mattress(!). Zoom out and check left corner of mattress, note the codes. Turn left
    3. Use razor on patch on wall (i dont know what it’s for though). Turn left.
    4. Pick up bowl on floor. Zoom in on water outlet
    5. Click on crooked bar a few times until it comes off. Use bowl on water. Zoom out.
    6. Splash water on wall on right side of screen where your cursor pointer turns into hand. X appears. Turn right.
    7. Zoom in to metal thing above on wall. Use bar to poke it off. Zoom out and splash water on right part of wall. WX appears. Turn right(note W=west)
    8. Pick up metal thing on floor, combine it with bar and get hammer. Splash water on wall here too and get X. Use razor on rope tying mattress to bed frame and get rope. Turn right.
    9. Splash water on wall again and get X. The code before was E5S2N3W2. West is known and deduce the rest from there.
    10. Use hammer on X next to door, knock 5 times. Turn left, knock on X above bed 2 times. Turn left twice, knock 3 times. Turn right, knock 2 times.
    11. Turn right and zoom in on hole appeared next to bed. Pick up nut & bolt.
    12. Combine two brackets and bolt and rope, use on slit on door.
    13. Click on door handle to open but DO NOT GO OUT (unless u wanna startover).
    14. With door open, turn left and zoom in to where the 2nd bracket and razor was. You’ll see a man come into the doorway and left.
    15. Now you can go out the door and escape!

    Ok what am I doing wrong? is there a direction to rotate around the room that you have to go or something? I’ve double checked the NSEW several times….

    I think it’s time to condense this knowledge into a walkthrough.

    First thing to note is that once you open your inventory, in order to look at an item up close so you can combine it with another, you have to double-click the item. Now, on to how to get out.

    Show

    On the start screen, pick up the metal bracket on the ground to the right of the door.
    Go right and pick up the plate on the ground.
    Zoom in on the bars to see a drain.
    Open your inventory and gather some water with the plate.
    Now start clicking on the third bar from the left to loosen it and eventually free it.
    Zoom out from the drain and use the water filler plate on the wall to reveal an X (the spot should be about mid way up and just to the right of the center of the wall)
    Go right and zoom in on the big crack above, use the metal bar to get at what’s in the crack.
    Zoom out and use the water filled plate on the wall to get a WX, it’s dead center on the wall.
    Go right and collect the piece of metal on the ground to the left of the bed.
    Use he water filled plate on the wall just above the left side of the bed.
    Zoom in underneath the right side of the bed, collect the knife that is wedged between the bed and the corner of the bed frame.
    Collect the second metal bracket on the ground to the left.
    Zoom out and go left, use the knife from under the bed on the white section of wall to sharpen it.
    Turn right and use the knife on the strings holding the bed to the frame to get a long string.
    Turn to the right again to be facing the door again, use the water filled plate for the last time on the wall to the left of the door.
    Now there should be X’s showing on the 4 walls of the cell with one of them marked with a W.
    Now turn to the view of you facing the bed and click to the left side of the bed to see writing ‘E5S2N3W2’
    This is instructions on which X’s you need to hit in which order.
    Now to assemble the hammer, open your inventory, double click the metal bar and use the metal bar with a hole in it on that to make a hammer.
    Now, to bang the walls, face the wall marked with a W (west) to start.

    Turn right twice, click the X 5 times
    Turn left once, click the X 2 times
    Turn right twice, click the X 3 times
    and finally, turn right once, click the X 2 times to hear a thud
    (if you are paying attention you would notice north and south are reversed, I don’t know why that is)

    Turn to face the bed and you should notice a hole on the ground to the left of the bed.
    Zoom in on the hole to grab the nut and bolt.
    Now to assemble our escape tool.
    Open your inventory and double click one of the brackets, use the other bracket on it, then the nut and bolt, then the long string.
    Now, with your new tool turn to the door and use it on the rectangular opening at the top.
    A short cutscene of the lock being removed.
    Now open the door but DON’T LEAVE (if you leave you get caught and start over).
    Instead, turn left and zoom in to the underside of the mattress and watch the door.
    After you see the person come to the door and then go away, come out from under the bed and exit to escape.
