This game features several puzzle, including pattern recognition, logic puzzles and PaintBox. “Many of the challenges are based on modern technology.”

If you get stuck, a walkthrough is provided in game. A save option is also available in case you decide to come back later.

The puzzle next to the armchair: Show

Rotate the tiles so that there are no isolated triangles (except at the extreme edges). This means that a red triangle, for example, has to be adjacent to another red triangle. When you do it, you get a key.

Some stuff: Show

The key from the puzzle opens the box on the other side of the armchair. You get a lamp.

Turn off the light switch next to the fireplace, select the lamp to reveal some numbers corresponding to the puzzle above the armchair. The first line of that puzzle can be changed to YUCCA, which is the type of the plant above the fireplace.

The plant can be placed in different places and you can see views of the room on the TV.

keep changing where you put th flower pot near the fireplace. each time u move it, the tv gives you another view, one of those views is the tv code. i beleive the model is m-show or something like.

I finally figured out what the clue regarding the Yucca plant means!

You can click different locations to place the Yucca plant there. The TV shows different things depending upon where the plant is placed. You can use this knowledge to find the model of the TV.

Thanks all! I have given up on the fireplace puzzle and I think that is the “key” to getting out. I may start over and use the hints as suggested earlier. I still like the game…a good challenge!

I like this game a lot. I don’t know about the fireplace puzzle either. I finally gave up and looked at the solution. The problem is, there’s no way to reset it, as far as I know.

I haven’t figured out what each button does Show

the left button rotates the numbers and the right button increments them all by one, but not sure about the middle two

walkthrough
Show

Get cell phone on bottom left of fireplace
turn right and take dvd from dvd player
turn right and pick up mail on lower left corner
take plant left of the chair
click on game left of chair and beat it
basically get colors to match up from tile to tile
take key from drawer that opens
use key on small safe to the right of the chair
take xray light from safe
turn right and take remote from couch
click right side of paintings to show a wall safe – code will come later
go right and shut off lights, then take black light and use on wall next to chair
it gives you the code for the pictures right above you
go turn on lights and use the letters to make four words , yucca, holds, hidden, camera – then use the code from the wall and you get the word recycle.
the words on the wall that you made mean that the yucca plant in your inventory will give you didfferent camera views when placed around the fireplace. the views will show on the tv.
go to the fireplace and place the word recycle on the temperature thing to the left
then it will open and give you the password to the computer.
stay at temperature thing and click the button to on. this will activate the code for the panic room to open
then alternate between the hold and next buttons until the code 450792 locks itself in.
use the new password PaintBox on the laptop to unlock
p[lay the game paintbox until all the colors turn red and you get code of SamG123

then look at rmote codes to figure out code for the tv
go to fireplace and make sure that the yucca plan is on the top right of the fireplace. then look at the tv to get the model of tv, lok at laptop to find the matching code. mine was m-show so that was 8347
go to tv and use remote. hold down set key for 3 seconds, then enter code and hit enter, know you should be able to up channel on the remote and go thru the stations. leave the tv on the insert disk screen and go back to laptop. go to mail section on laptop and enter SamG123 for the user name, the pasword will automatically appear and hit enter. go to inbox and download the SPG video and then put dvd into laptop. it should ask you to download, just click on SPG video – add video – burn dvd. take dvd and place it in dvd player and see the panic room code. make sure you hav the button to on on the temperature control unit, then go above fireplace and use the tv remote with new code to open up the panic room code.
after you do that, go to the wall painting that open up and enter the code from the temperature control unit 450792. take wallet from wall safe and take credit card from wallet. go to laptop and use cc number to pay off your cell phone bill. the name and zip are from the letter you found earlier.
open cell phone and read text. the text refers to the panic room code and that all the numbers need to be different. this took me forever and it basically was a guess and i am probably unable to gt it right again, but once you get that code to show all different numbers in will lock into place, then just back up and the fireplace will go up and you’re out

This one’s a bit frustrating, but it does work. You have to hold the Set button down pretty much exactly three seconds. Maybe a bit less. Certainly not more.

You will hear a beep when you release the button if you got it right, and it’s ready for a code.

As for which code to use? The font makes it clear – Ws have angled lines, Ms do not on the sides.

I couldn’t get the CC card number to work. Turned out I didn’t need it.
Panic Button Code.

You need all the numbers to be 0 on the top and bottom row to start.
Click the Arrows (>>>>) until you reach 6 all the way across the bottom.
Then hit the Circle arrows so the 6 goes to the top.
Click the >>> again to make a 7 then the circle again.
Repeat this until you get a 09876 on top.
Then hit the >>> again and it should have
09876
12345
This will open the door.

Even when you understand all the buttons, you can only do “local” changes, such as changing two identical numbers with the third button. This third button only works when there are 2 equal numbers at the top left.
