In Part 1 of our interview with Tonypa, we discussed about how Tonypa usually works on his Flash games. Today, we talk about stealing content and copyright! Read on.
In case you missed it, here is Part 1 of Tonypa interview.
FreeGamesNews: You’ve taken your games offline last year, for stealing content reasons. With thousands of games portals on the web today, suspect methods here and there and your reaction last year, there is may be something to say?
Tonypa: I want to say first that I truly believe most people are actually honest and they respect efforts spent to create any kind of material. The stealing/cracking bunch doesn’t concern the majority. It is clear that anything published in the web is available for thieves running free Flash game portals. I think every new Flash game designer is at start just plain happy if his game is being played and does not worry about the strangers earning money from it. Many people develop Flash games for fun and not for money so they don’t find it a problem at all. But there are also people trying to make a living by creating Flash games and for them of course thousands of shovelware free flash games sites are bad news.

I had the opportunity to chat recently with Tonypa. He took some time to answer a few questions for FreeGamesNews (thanks Tonypa).
FreeGamesNews: Could you please introduce yourself?
Tonypa: My real name has non-English letters so I use Tony :)
FreeGamesNews: Can you tell us a bit about your background?
Tonypa: I have mostly worked as newspaper/magazine designer. I learned computers at school and made animated movies too.
FreeGamesNews: For how long have you been developing Flash games?
Tonypa: Since 2000.
FreeGamesNews: How many games have you already developed?
Tonypa: No idea. Already forgot some old ones, they were not very good when I look at them now, but then of course I loved them :)
Maybe about 30…

Too Match Two is a puzzle game strongly inspired by Pushori by Tonypa. The gameplay is similar: push the blocks in a 3 x 3 grid, align vertically two similar blocks to make them disappear and clear the black tiles. A few changes make this game more challenging than the original. Have fun!

Turnellio is an unusual Match-3 game developed by Tonypa where you have to line up three or more tiles to remove them.
That doesn’t sound unusual, right? But what if, instead of swapping tiles, you rotate them?
That’s where Turnellio sets itself apart.
Be warned, each time you rotate a tile without making a match, another tile gets locked randomly and can’t be rotated anymore. Oh, and gaps appear from time to time on the grid to make things more challenging!

In Taberinos, the latest skill puzzler from Tonypa, your goal is to clear the board by “skillfully launching the ball”.
Aim and click to fire the ball around the game window and bounce into lines to remove them. Clear lines connected to the node to get rid of it.
You have a limited number of shots in each level (10 at level 1), and you gain an extra shot for each five levels you successfully complete.
Simple concept, easy to learn, tricky to master!

Pushori is a little puzzle game from Tonypa. Use your mouse to push blocks in a 3 x 3 grid, and align two similar blocks vertically (horizontally won’t do it) to make them disappear and clear the board (grey tiles)! Pushori is a simple but enjoyable game. Have fun!

Floribular is the latest puzzle game created by Tonypa, in which your goal is to place a flower on the grid to eliminate as many like-colored flowers as possible. The catch is that matches don’t have to be made by adjacent tiles, they can be three or more flowers in that row or column.
As mentioned by JohnB at Jayisgames, “difficult to describe, but easy to play, Floribular has the uncanny ability to steal your interest and hold on for quite some time.”
If you have some time to kill, check Floribular out!

ShoOot 3 is the next installment in the ShoOot arcade game series created by Tonypa.
Your goal here is similar to the previous episode: destroy as many circles as you can with your square that moves randomly from one point to another.
Rotate your square with your mouse and click to fire.
This game is not exactly the most exciting one you’ll ever see, but if you are looking for a basic and quick shooter, ShoOot 3 is a fun 5 minute diversion.

BLockoban is a new Puzzle game strongly inspired by Sokoban and Cubeoban created by Jean-Philippe Sarda aka JP, the French game developer behind Pepere.org.
Your goal in BLockoban is to move different blocks to their corresponding targets. To do so, click a block, hold down your mouse button, drag the block in the desired direction and then release the button. In BLockoban, a block will slide until it is stopped by a wall or another block, and things become challenging very quickly.
By far, the best part of BLokoban is that players can build their own levels, thanks to the level editor integrated in the game (you need to register to upload your levels); at the time of writing, 66 levels are already playable!
BLockoban is hosted at BonusLevel, a brand new site created by JP, Tonypa and Wouter. The aim of BonusLevel is to provide games including each a level editor, so that new levels can be added regularly to maintain interest. New levels are moderated by a team of members, and only the best levels will be added to the games.
Also note that an updated version of CoBaCoLi is available at BonusLevel, with 41 levels to play at the time of writing!

Kavalmaja is the latest puzzle game created by Tonypa. Your goal in Kavalmaja is to collect the 50 yellow diamonds in order to (eventually) get to the maze’s exit.
Use the arrow keys to move, move onto blue blocks to toggle some walls, avoid red blocks that harm you.
Be warned, it’s not that easy!

Created by Tonypa, Blockarelli is a mix of Collapse and SameGame. The object of the game is to select groups of three or more adjacent tiles of the same color to clear them from the board and fill the level quota bar. If you manage to fill it completely, you advance to the next level.
Unlike in SameGame-like games, each time you clear some tiles, they are immediately replaced by new tiles from the top or the bottom of the grid, depending on where you click.
Blockarelli is a nice and fun game, but the difficulty ramps up very quickly and makes it too challenging for the average player; you will also need a good amount of luck if you want to enter the Highscores! You have been forewarned!
