Designed by Ferry Halim, a very talented and creative game designer, Orisinal was launched in 2000 with one single game, Apple Season; at the time of writing, his website is featuring 57 easy-to-learn/easy-to-play games, most of them lasting no longer than a couple of minutes.

Avatars used in games are usually moved with the mouse and with so many games to choose from, you can easily spend hours there!

But what makes Orisinal so unique is the exceptional look and feel of the different games, combined with great sound effects and music.

Halim was able to build, year after year, a totally family friendly universe, without violence, in which you can refresh your mind at any time.

I wouldn’t recommend any game in particular, but I strongly invite you to admire for a while what is something between games, art and poetry. Orisinal!

Ferry Halim of Orisinal released a few days ago The Crossing, a new wonderful little time waster.

The Crossing can’t be described as particularly innovative but the overall quality of the artwork is outstanding.

Your goal here is simply to prevent deer from falling in a forest stream. To do so, use your mouse to move the sliding platform and use it as a bridge to the other side of the stream.

Press and hold your mouse button to freeze the additional red platform for a limited time. Catch the falling leaves and get an extra life, a longer platform or triple your points for a limited time.

If The Crossing is worth playing to experience the graphics and the unique deer animations, it becomes quickly repetitive and doesn’t offer much replay value. That being said, here is another excellent production from Ferry Halim that is highly recommended for the kids!

Yes, Ferry Halim is alive, and has just released a new mini skill game before Christmas! Use your mouse to catch as many winter bells as you can with your snow-rabbit, and catch the bird to double your score!
