   used the cat to bring dictionary, once you have it you can bring kind of gameboy on shelf and inside it there is the missing code. use it onsafe to find a mouse

    I cant get started…
    clicked all over initial loading screen.
    Finally clicked on japanese near the bottom which sent me to another tab with email and password prompts..duly inputted…clicked 1st green box…clicked 2nd green box…looked in my email account…nada…what am i supposed to do?

    @ all – when you register at Gotmail, they send you an email to set up your password. Once it’s done, you can access to the game.

    I have tried going to the link in the email but I dont know what all the fields its asking for are…? Have attempted to fill ithem in to no avail

    Walkthrough:
    Show

    1. Click on right-hand side of the couch to get a closeup
    2. Click front leg of couch, then back of couch, to fold down back
    3. Get remote control
    4. Click folded-down back to raise it again, then get battery.
    5. Zoom out, go left to windows.
    6. Zoom in on third window.
    7. Click on curtain several times, until a key falls out, and get key.
    8. Zoom out, go left to desk.
    9. Zoom in on drawers, unlock second drawer with key, get scissors.
    10. Zoom out, go left to TV.
    11. Click left bottom of TV stand to zoom in on plugs.
    12. Use scissors to cut ribbon, get AC adapter.
    13. Unplug the plugs, then plug them both back in again.
    14. Zoom out, go left to couch.
    15. Open cabinet, use scissors to cut tape, get cat.
    16. Double-click cat to examine it, turn it around, use scissors to cut tail, get second battery.
    17. Examine remote control, click bottom of it to to turn it around, open battery compartment, put batteries in it.
    18. Zoom out, go left twice to desk.
    19. Zoom in on top of bookshelf, use cat on dictionary.
    20. Zoom out, go left to TV.
    21. Zoom in on DVD player, use remote on button on TV.
    22. Open DVD compartment, get DVD.
    23. Zoom out, go left to couch.
    24. Zoom in on top shelf, use dictionary on electronic doodad.
    25. Examine electronic doodad, turn it over, open big compartment to get scrap of paper.
    26. Examine dictionary, use scrap on dictionary to get code (different for every game).
    27. Zoom out, then zoom in on middle bottom shelf, enter code from dictionary on box, push button, open box, get mouse.
    28. Get batteries out of remote, put them in mouse.
    29. Go left twice to desk, zoom in on laptop.
    30. Click right-hand side of laptop to open CD/DVD drive, put DVD in it, close it.
    31. Use mouse on keyboard.
    32. Use AC adapter on keyboard.
    33. Click on screen, then on left-hand file to get a math problem.
    34. The answer to the math problem is 108.
    35. Zoom out, get mouse and get batteries from mouse.
    36. Zoom out again, then zoom in on the drawers and use 108 to open the top drawer and get cartridge.
    37. Examine electronic game machine, turn it over and put batteries and cartridge in it, turn it over again and turn it on to get code “MASATO”.
    38. Get batteries out of game machine, put them back in mouse.
    39. Go back to the laptop, use mouse on keyboard again, click on screen, open up right file, enter MASATO (in all-caps) as code to get another code, 1371.
    40. Zoom out, go left to TV, zoom in on panel next to door, enter 1371.
    41. Open compartment in panel, get key, use key to unlock door, go out.

    @Eric – “they send you an email to set up your password” – no they don’t! At least I haven’t been able to get them to send me anything. Which one is the magic button? I’ve tried all of them, I thought, but no email has been forthcoming.

    Please, give us the STEP BY STEP instructions for how to acquire a gotmail.jp account. I’m talking really STEP BY MINISCULE STEP, down to exactly which links and/or buttons to press, what goes in what fields, etc. Please?

    Meanwhile, I’ve refreshed my poor email account so many times it’s not even funny. I don’t think they have any intention of sending me anything.

    Ah, finally!

    There’s a teeny-tiny little link at the bottom of the page that says “Many more free escape games, and our escape game SNS!!” (in English). Click on that to go to an English version of the site.

    Somewhere in the middle of that page is a “Register” button. Type your email address in the field next to the button, then press the button.

    This should get them to send you the magic email. (Check your spam folder if needed – Gmail didn’t file it there, but other services might have different filtering standards.)

    Click the link in the email to go to a page that lets you set your password.

    Next, don’t bother logging in through the English version of the site – the game won’t recognize it. Instead, in the game window, click the Japanese text below the box with the exclamation point.

    This should take you to a screen with fields for an email and a password, but with most of the text in Japanese. Put in your email and the password you created, then press the top green button.

    Then refresh the window with the game in it, and you should be in.

    You Do Not Have To Start over:

    Show

    You MUST examine the cat that you get from the box in the cabinet. The one that you use the scissors to open. The second battery is in the tail of the cat. Use the scissors on the tail. If you put the cat on the book shelf to replace the Dictionary, not to worry, just exchange the cat for the Dictionary, get the battery, and then exchange the Dictionary for the cat again.

    thks so much zzadar for the WT. I kept inserting the code for the laptop in lower letters and the lack of response drove me crazy! I’m so fed up with people that go… “can’t enter the code… no, wait! got it and I’m out!!!” Why don’t you share, guys?

    The registering thing is very frustrating! I have registered twice with different emails and got no email for confirmation- I checked my spam and everything! I’m dying to play these games

    ktkelley – I was going mad trying to register too – try this to avoid signing up.

    Go to bugmenot.com, type in gotmjail’s web address and hey presto – a list of addresses and passwords. The first one worked for me!

    Brilliant graphics but i still think gotmail games should take a leaf out of Neutrals book. The code i got from the maths problem on computer doesn’t work on any combo lock too.
