      Thanks for the solve, but I would love to know HOW you solved this! I love abroy puzzles but this is the one sticking point I have!!!!

        I know it’s problematic, and that’s why I usually post the solution. There is no single method on how to do it, it’s a number of helpful tricks, coupled with some trial and error. Remember that the numbers in any row/column should all be different. Here are the main ideas:
        1. If there are only 2 numbers which add up to 3 or 4, then we can only have 1+2=3 and 1+3=4.
        2. If 3 numbers should add up to 24, then it can only be 9+8+7. If they add up to 23, then you can only have 9+8+6 (you can’t reduce the 9 to 8 or the 8 to 7).
        3. Start off with the row or column that gives you the least number of combinations.
