Tesshi-e – Escape from the Rest Room

Escape from the Rest Room is the latest Room Escape game released by Tesshi-e, the author of Escape from the Kid’s Room, Escape from the Hexagonal Room, Mild Escape 4, Escape from the Living Room 2, Escape from the Lodge, Escape from Tatami Room 2, Escape from Santa’s Room and many more.

Don’t forget to select the English language before you start the game, unless you read Japanese…

   To the administrator, you wrote “Escape The Kids Room” instead of “The Rest Room”. Not that we did not understand, only matter of Google search. (wink)

   A lot of work. LOL

   Walkthrough…..

   1. Show

   Click on sinks. Note shape and click just to the right side of the square one and get paper with arrow and the word heart. Turn the water on any sink and use the paper. It turns color. Turn right.

   2. Show

   Click on white air drier. Note number. You will need that later. Click on the top of it and get a wire next to the wall. Zoom out. Note the Roman numerals on the urinals. They are on the stalls too. If you click on each one you will see a star on each one except number 5. We will find a cloth to clean that off later. Note the position of each one you can see for later use. Turn right.

   3. Show

   The picture of the train with tip when you click on the corners. The orange stars will show you the order as soon as you get them all. Note the picture of the hearts. Note the position of each colored heart in the order of the wet paper from top to bottom. It should be 1, 5, 4, 4, 3, 5, 2. Turn right.

   4. Show

   Note that stall “I” has the star on the top right. Click on the green square to the left of the sinks. Click on the buttons in the order of the hearts. Get wire cutters and note compass. We will come back to this. Zoom out and turn right. Looking at urinals. Click on floor and you see a key under the grate. Use wire cutters on wire to make a hook. Then use hook to get key. Turn so you can see the stalls. Click on the left one next to the wall. Use key.

   5. Show

   Get locked box and stool. View the lock box and match the shapes with the sinks. Get screw driver. Turn right. Click on the box on the wall to the left of the sinks. Use screwdriver. Turn off the lights. You see something in the mirror behind you so turn. The picture of the trains now has a number. 1563 Turn the lights back on and turn to the stalls. Use the stool on stall number III then click the top. Note the number on the picture of Mt. Fuji 3776. Click down and you can see the door latch. We will come back to this. Zoom out and then click on stall II.

   6. Show

   Note the clue Fuji+Train. Add the numbers 3776+1563=5339. Enter the number. Click on the shelf and get cloth. Click on tissue roll and note the star is upper right. So II = upper right. Turn to the sinks. Get cloth wet. Turn to urinals. Click on number V and use wet cloth. You now have all 7 star positions. They should be in the order of 1-7 UL, UR, UR, BL, UR, UR, BR. Turn to the train picture.

   7. Show

   Click on the train pictures corners in the order of the stars. It will open and you get a key. Turn to stall II. Click on the arm rest?? to the left of the toilet. Use key. Get knob. To the right of it is a dial. Turn it one click. You will see why shortly. Zoom out and click on stall I. Use knob and get mop. Zoom out and click on stall III. Use stool so you can see over the top at the door latch. View mop and click on the end of the handle. Use wire and wire cutters. Use hook to open door lock. Click on arm rest/flush and enter the number form the air drier. Get key. Go to stall I.

   8. Show

   Use key on arm rest/flush. Click the black dial 7 times. It should be one click away from the top. Zoom out an turn right. Click on the spot with the compass. You should see the arrows pointing in the correct directions. If not, go back to the stalls with the black dial to turn them. Get key card.

   Normal End….

   9. Show

   Look at the key card. You see the numbers II, III, I. Go to each stall with that number and open the toilet lid. Note the symbol on each one. They should be #!, %, and $. This is a reference to the keyboard so the number is 3154. Go to the door and use the key card and enter the number. The light should turn green and unlock the door. If you want the happy coin then don’t go out the door yet.

   Happy Coin End…….

   10. Show

   If the light is green, go turn the lights off again and like before look at the train picture. You will see keyboard symbols again. It should be (%$) So the number is 9540. Enter that in the door key lock and the light should turn gold. Zoom out and click on the stall next to the wall. Get happy coin and go up the steps. Have lunch!

   That should get you out.

   The end works only if you have a qwerty keyboard… not if you have an azerty…

   Another superb Tesshi-e game! I did it almost all by myself, though I needed help getting started: I don’t think I’d have thought to Show

   wash the HEART paper

   on my own. Thanks, as always, White Wolf for the WT!
