   Not so fond of these games, creepiness aside. I find myself just clicking like mad on everything hoping items will combine. This time I didn’t find the room to the right of the staircase (with the arrow) until I’d almost given up. And I know I’d clicked on the right side several times.

   didn’t know how to get rid of the wolf clicked everywhere! gave up and watched the walkthrough sigh :/

   Walkthrough

   Show

   Take cannonball, use on cannon, click twice, the door opens.
   Take crossbow from skeleton and enter the castle.

   Take torch from wall, turn left.
   Take book and scroll.
   Open other book and take coins.

   Turn right twice and take arrow.
   Go left and then upstairs.

   Don’t be scared by the whatsit.
   Go right and take wood from left side of fireplace.
   Choose the book in your inventory and click on bookcase.

   Now you’re facing the bookcase and this is the tricky part.
   Notice that one book is brighter. You have to make some
   books brighter by clicking on them, but the problem is
   that some of the books turn the brighter books off.

   Top left row: click on the reddish book 3 places to the right
   of the bright book and the bluish book 6 places to its left.
   Top right row: click the large green book which is a bit to
   the left of center, and click the red book 4 places to its left.
   Bottom right row: click on the book directly below the right
   lit book above it. Notice that the scroll disappeared.

   Back down and you’ll see that the bookcase opened.
   Enter the room and take the mirror part. Place the
   coins in the bowl, and the torch underneath it. Dip the
   arrow in the melted silver and combine with crossbow.

   Back down out of the room and turn left to face the monster.
   Use the silver-tipped arrow on it and it disappears. Turn left.

   In this room, you have to make the bats disappear, since they
   are blocking a door. First, add the mirror part to the broken mirror.
   Now, open the left window by clicking on it – the sun shines
   in. Click on the mirror to direct the sun’s rays on the bats,
   and they die.

   Enter the room through the door and take the red-handled
   knife. Use it on the wood to make a stake. Back down and
   turn right to face the double door that was previously guarded
   by the monster, and enter.

   Click on the coffin to open it. Now, that’s an ugly vampire!
   Use the stake on it, and you’re done.
