Choko-Chai – Escape from the Haunted House

Escape from the Haunted House is the latest Room Escape game from Choko-Chai, the author of the Three Cats series and the Concert series. Our three cats are trapped in a haunted house today, and they will have to meet several cute ghosts before they can escape! Have fun!

   Yea! Out with happy end. If you get stuck during the game, don’t forget to click on the cat (top left of dialogue box) for some extra help at times.

     secret room after you unplugged the cogs on main door with pliers. go the left room (with calendar), the third mirror is on the right window

     anyone? how to get out from the house, looks like i’m missing one item after making kalaideskop, and enter code for main door?

   Walkthrough:
   Red room (I):Show

   Enter red door. Take flag from floor, right of bookshelf (looks like a handle). Take hat. Zoom on painting. Note money box. Leave room.

   Yellow room (II):Show

   Door doesn’t open. Use cats, select striped cat and click on yellow door. Zoom on door and enter. Zoom on bike and take cover (ring) near front wheel. Zoom out and take flowers. Zoom on painting, note duck. Leave room.

   Cyan room (III): locked.
   Green room (IV): Show

   Zoom on green door and use doorknob (previously called
   flag) and enter. Lamp rattles – use cats, select spotty cat and then lamp. Take cyan key. Take money box. Zoom on painting, note watering can. Leave room.

   Back in red room: Show

   Place moneybox as in the painting. Friendly ghost appears, note the number in this message (24). Lift money box and take the mirror. Leave room.

   Pink room (V): requires 4-digit code. Hint not yet seen.
   Orange room (VI) is locked.
   Corridor: Show

   Go straight ahead to see crystal and stained glass reflections. Back up twice to main door. 4-digit code to door (order CYGR), hint not yet seen. Zoom on stained glass and take mirror from base of right hand segment. Note circle under window.

   Cyan room: Show

   Use key on door. Take watering can. Put hat on stand (as in picture). Friendly ghost appears (note #19). Take book (how to make a kaleidoscope). Examine book and turn pages until you find and take a bookmark. Examine the bookmark and see half a number. Use the mirror on it to get code, 8031. Leave room.

   Green room again: Show

   Place watering can as in painting. Friendly ghost appears (#17). Leave room.

   Pink room: Show

   Enter code from bookmark and go in. Something moving on the clock. Use cats, select grey cat and clock. Get pendulum. Take clock from bookshelf. Look at painting and place flowers accordingly. Friendly ghost
   appears (#10). Examine pendulum, turn over and take orange key. Leave room.

   Orange room: Show

   Use key and enter. Take duck. Look at painting and place clock accordingly. Friendly ghost appears (#26). Zoom on tissue box and take all the tissues, take paper tube. Zoom on plant and take pliers. Leave room.

   Return to yellow room: Show

   Place duck as in painting. Friendly ghost appears (#12). Leave room.

   Back in corridor: Show

   Back up to main door and use pliers on circle below stained glass window. Solar light shines. Go to crystal at opposite end of corridor and discover a staircase.

   Hidden room: Show

   Go up stairs to new room. Go to the left and zoom on calendar,
   see the days circled: 10-12, 17-19 and 24-26. We have 6 of these from the ghosts: 24,19,17,10,26,12. Take mirror from sill of window on right.
    
   Back out twice and zoom in on red box on altar. Note same 3*3 grid pattern as in calendar:
   10 11 12
   17 18 19
   24 25 26
   Press the buttons following the numbers given by the ghosts in the order of the rooms downstairs:
   24 12 19 17 10 26. Red bow is drawn on the lid. Open box and take friction tape.
    
   Back out and go to the right. Click on the hopping creature and play rock-paper-scissors. Keep playing until you win 3 times and get the bead case.

   Kaleidoscope: Show

   we now have all the materials to make it. Examine the mirrors and use the friction tape on them. Click on them to fold them as in the instructions. Examine the paper tube and insert the mirrors. Place the cover on the left end and the bead case on the right.

   Red room revisited: Show

   remember the red bow on the lid? Click on the ghost. A key card drops, take it.

   Exit code: Show

   Examine the kaleidoscope and note the numbers:
   Yellow 4, cyan 8, green 3, red 7. Enter these in the panel by the main door, in colour order indicated: 8437. Click the handle to open the box. Swipe the card and note the pink ribbon.

   You can exit now for normal end, or…
   Happy end: Show

   go back to the ghost in the pink room and click it to receive a bouquet of flowers. Leave through the main door.
