After Lost Treasure of Ergotten , here is Dinx – Mystery Mansion, the second installment in the Dinx Point’n’Click Adventure series created by Selfdefiant, the author of the SSSG series.

“We have been tracking a valuable painting that was stolen from the museum. We have had a tip that the thief in the mansion down the road from your house.

The suspect will be out of town for the next few days and we need you to find a way inside and look for the painting.”

   I can’t figure out the code to any of the safes in the rooms. I’ve only managed to get inside the color coded rooms.

   Needs a walkthrough.:)

   First walkthrough ……….

   Follow instructions to enter house and access computer.

   Show

   leave house and go right twice to reach mansion. Open letter box and click on centre to reveal key

   Show

   open padlock and move to front door. Click on dark brick to find key to house. Enter house.

   Show

   go left into living room and pick up chop sticks. Open book and note numbers/symbols. Note the red patch – we will need this later

   Show

   exit room and enter room between stairs to “piano hall”. Go right into dining room and take apple

   Show

   exit and enter door to right of piano. Take paper to find colour code. Note locked cupboard

   Show

   exit and then enter room to left of piano (kitchen). Collect pot and fill up at sink. Put pot on stove and put in apple. Stir with chop sticks to receive brown key.

   Show

   exit and go left into billiard room. Collect lemon and exit

   Show

   exit piano hall and go up left stairs. Using codes taken from living room and paper enter pink room

   Take plate (or whatever it is) and then click on chair to get pink key. Exit room

   enter white door and open cabinet to get glass (?). Leave room

   and click on the foot of the bed to reveal squiggle. Use glass as magnifier to see password

   Push cupboard to reveal safe. Use the plate to show which buttons to press. Take glasses and exit room

   Take number 8 ball and go through hole in wall purely out of curiosity. There is nothing to do or see in this room. Exit this and red room

   back downstairs and left again for living room. Open book and use glasses to find last code

   enter piano hall and go left to billiard room. Put number 8 ball into one of the pockets to receive white key. Exit room

   take door to right of piano and use brown key on wardrobe to get hose. Exit room

   exit piano hall and go right into spa room. Attach hose to tape to empty spa and get knife. Exit room

   back into piano hall and the kitchen (left of piano). Place lemon on wooden board and cut open with knife. Take cut lemon and exit twice to main hall

   remember the magic ink? Let’s see if lemon works…. back upstairs to yellow room and use lemon on book to reveal password

   Use to open safe and receive yellow key. Exit room

   back downstair and up the other ones to enter bathroom. Use code obtained with glasses to open safe and reveal final safe. Use all keys and click again to finally get the newspaper coverage you so rightly deserve!

   First one is easy, you need some powder to make the fingerprint visible then you push the buttons and get red eyeglasses. Use them to read code in the book in library and open “safe” in bathroom.
   In other bedroom use magnifying glass to read code at the end of bed
   For the last code boil water in pot, put wax apple into it; use tong to get key. Use key on the cupboard in greenhouse, get hose. Use hose to remove water from swimming pool and get knife. Put lemon on kitchen table and cut it with knife. In one of the bedrooms use (juice from) lemon slice on the page with invisible text, probably written in the basic solution of some pH indicator.

      the hose is in the dresser in the garden room
