   in lab: get blue bottle, test tubes in stand, beaker, beaker stand to left of “robot” (zoom on robot thing first and notice key)

   Viewing the “emergency” sign, open low cabinet, take rat food

   read mail on cabinet, and take electric lighter to the right of the cabinet

   the key from the office opens middle rat cage. DON’T TOUCH THE RAT!

   In lab, place stand next to gas, put burner under stand, connect with the rubber tube, put beaker on stand (after you filled it with water), turn on gas, light the burner, place stuff from bottles in tubes

   That’s as far as I got.

   Cute trick: Show

   take glove from inside sink, put rat food in orange box on “robot” table, use glove to take rat from middle cage, put the rat in the left circular hole of “robot” arm, get key to filing cabinet, get clue to “compound X”

    pipette, small dish and one bottle. The bottle from the fridge produced a yellow liquid. Use pipette to put liquid from tubes into beaker

    After making compound X use it on plant next to vase… Then you find a locked trapdoor… To find password search fridge. (Microscope isn’t useless)

    Some more tips (some of them with thanks to EG24):
    Show

    You need only 4 colors.
    The number of drops of each color is the same as the number of circled squares in the hint for compound X.
    Put the Petrie dish under the microscope, click on the eyepiece and fiddle with the things until you get a 4 digit number.
    Give compound X to the small tree in the office area.

    How do you get the beaker on the burner?????

    I have it filled with water. But I cannot get it to sit on the flame and heat the water.

    Is this one of those hideous pixel hunts that I hate so much?

    Well…. I know how to read…. sort of.

    The STAND that you sit the beaker on is in the maze scene. Very hard to see, on the left side behind a round part of the glass.

    Now I have purple stuff in my beaker. ?

    Screw it, I found everything except the red and yellow bottles, but the stupid computer wouldn’t let me type in the password! I know the password is Show

    but it would only let me type in five letters! I refreshed the page and kept trying but it wouldn’t come around… Very frustrating as the game itself was good!
