Mr MothBall is a fun little platformer created by Mateusz Skutnik better known for his two Point’n’click game series, Covert Front and Submachine.

Simply jump from platform to platform by using the arrow keys and eat the purple blobs to complete each level. Watch out for the little red moths!

A pretty well made platformer, with beautiful hand-drawn graphics!

Just a week after the release of Covert Front, Mateusz Skutnik made a new announcement today in his newsletter:

“it’s been a week since release of Covert Front. It’s time to spice things up. You’ve played Submachine, You’ve played Covert Front, now it’s time for something completely new and unforeseen: Daymare Town.

Sketchy outline-only drawings give stranger look to the gameplay and create a bit of minimal atmosphere. Add creepy sounds and twisted story and you get the picture.

DMT is the hardest puzzle game I made so far. It’s really nasty, so be warned. It’s for advanced Point’n’Click gamers. There is no cliffhanger at the end, but just try to get to that end.”

You’ve been forewarned (Oh, and the TAB key is your friend in this one…).

Here is the alert I just found in my email box today, from Mateusz Skutnik, the creator of the Submachine series:

“In Covert Front you are a top secret agent code-named Kara in an alternate history version of World War I. Assigned to infiltrate the mansion of a notorious scientist, Karl von Toten, you must discover the incredible secrets that lie within and escape with your life.

But first, you must figure out how to get through the front door! Covert Front is a point-and-click adventure game that will transport you to the center of an espionage-filled world.”

All Quiet on the Covert Front is a short and not really difficult game, but the story line and the unique atmosphere bring it to a new level. Covert Front might become a very successful series if the next episodes are as good as this one!
