GlobuleGlobuleGlobule is the latest puzzle game created by Rowland Rose, the author of Cave Escaper and Music Bounce.

“There’s been an accident at the slime factory, and globs of slime are everywhere! It’s up to you, Rob the robot, to clean up the mess.

First collect all the globs of slime to form one big slime chain. Then go to the suction vent to remove all your slime. But be careful, each vent can only be used once. If you run out of vents and still have slime left, then you have to restart the level!”

Use the arrow keys or WASD to move your robot.

Globule is an interesting mix of Maze, Sokoban and Snake, and just like with the previous games released at LetsMakeGame, it offers a level editor to create you own levels.

StorageStorageStorage is a Sokoban clone that features a 3D isometric view. Your goal here is to help your little avatar (Use the arrow keys to move) to push crates around a maze, and put them onto the green areas. Only one crate can be pushed at a time and crates can’t be pulled.

Storage doesn’t add anything new to the genre. That being said, if you are a fan of Sokoban games, 36 levels are waiting for you!

BLockoban is live at BonusLevel!

Categories: Flash, Free, Games, Online, Puzzle   2 comments - April 18, 2008

BlockobanBlockobanBLockoban is a new Puzzle game strongly inspired by Sokoban and Cubeoban created by Jean-Philippe Sarda aka JP, the French game developer behind

Your goal in BLockoban is to move different blocks to their corresponding targets. To do so, click a block, hold down your mouse button, drag the block in the desired direction and then release the button. In BLockoban, a block will slide until it is stopped by a wall or another block, and things become challenging very quickly.

By far, the best part of BLokoban is that players can build their own levels, thanks to the level editor integrated in the game (you need to register to upload your levels); at the time of writing, 66 levels are already playable!

BLockoban is hosted at BonusLevel, a brand new site created by JP, Tonypa and Wouter. The aim of BonusLevel is to provide games including each a level editor, so that new levels can be added regularly to maintain interest. New levels are moderated by a team of members, and only the best levels will be added to the games.

Also note that an updated version of CoBaCoLi is available at BonusLevel, with 41 levels to play at the time of writing!

silversphereSilversphereSilversphere is the latest puzzle game developped by Damien Clarke, the author of The Missile Game 3D.

The game borrows some concepts from Sokoban: the object in each of the 25 levels is to enter the blue vortex with your silver sphere, while avoiding falling in water or being hit by moving gold spheres. To reach the exit vortex, push boxes around to clear paths and build bridges: only box can be pushed at a time.

Use the arrow keys to control the silver sphere and stay on the land or you will have to restart the level.

You will also find ice cubes in later levels that slide until they hit an obstacle or fall in water.
In several levels, your first objective is to load the claws with a box to make the vortex appear. Blue claws require ice cube!

To spice things up, the author added a countdown timer: run out of time and you will have to restart the level.

If the graphics and animations are nicely polished, the music loop is far too short and annoying: the mute button will be your friend!

Overall, Silversphere is a more than interesting choice for all Sokoban fans!

Have fun!

SogobanSogobanSogoban is a puzzle game released last July by the Dutch developer Eric Ettes. This Flash game is a remake of the famous classic transport puzzle Sokoban, originally developed in 1980 by the Japanese Hiroyuki Imabayashi.

The object is to help Puff the Dragon to push boxes around a maze, and put them onto designated locations named here dropoff points. Only one box can be pushed at a time, and boxes can’t be pulled.

With 4 different sets of tiles and 4 different songs (plus a stop music option), Sogoban has definitely a retro look and feel, close to the first versions of the game.

A level editor is also available on Ettes’ website. You can design a small or a big level at once and then play/solve it in order to get a code. Post this code in the site’s forum to share levels with other players, who will just have to cut and paste it in the custom option in Sogoban to enjoy it!

The game uses level passwords to save your progress, so check the top of the main window when you begin a new level.

On the down side, there is no high scores table implemented with the game, and if designing your own levels is pretty easy, the cut and paste sharing process is not very convenient for other players.

Overall, Sogoban is a very nice clone of Sokoban: with 48 different levels, here is a game I wouldn’t recommend for a coffee break!

Have fun!
