One On OneOne On OneOne On One is the latest game released by the French developer JP from Following Soccer challenge released three weeks ago (and previously reviewed here), One On One is the second game designed by JP to celebrate the next soccer world cup which will start tomorrow in Germany.

In One On One, your avatar is a soccer player who will have to defeat four different goalkeepers. Use your mouse to control your player on the field and try to score goals. For each goal you score one point. The goalkeeper scores one point each time he catches the ball within the penalty area. To defeat a goalkeeper, score 7 points first!

A training option is included in the nicely done tutorial. Graphics and animations are great but what makes this game interesting is definitely the difficulty, very well managed and increasing progressively: if it is pretty easy to defeat the first goalkeeper, it is much more tricky to defeat the last one, a famous Dyno!

Another really nice implementation is the save and load scores option, which allows you to save and update your high score each time you defeat a goalkeeper. Don’t forget to register before playing if you want to save your high score and improve it later.

If you like playing soccer, you should definitely enjoy playing with One On One for a while. Recommended. Have fun!

Hog PophogHog Pop is a new Puzzle / Skill game strongly inspired by Bloons created by Jean-Philippe Sarda aka JP, the French game developer behind

Just like in Bloons, your goal in Hog Pop is to pop a certain number of balloons, but instead of using darts, you play here with a little hedgehog.

Hold down the mouse button to freeze the camera and adjust your shot then release the mouse button to launch the hedgehog.

You have a limited number of moves to pop the targeted number of balloons, but unlike in Bloons, you can rewind to the beginning of each level (if needed) by using the “Esc” key.

Hog Pop features 49 levels of increasing difficulty and a nice soundtrack: a lot of Bloons fans should be pleased with this game!

Jump Gear Random

Categories: Action, Flash, Free, Games, Online   2 comments - August 8, 2008

Jump Gear RandomJump Gear RandomJump Gear Random is the latest 2D race game released a few days two years ago by the French developer JP from This game is directly inspired form the Funky Truck and BMX famous series, developed by David Thorburn.

The goal here is to drive a 4 x 4 vehicle as far as you can, and as quickly as possible. Use the arrow keys to control your vehicle in the very hilly terrain, and use the space bar to jump over obstacles.

Several power-ups are implemented throughout the different timed levels: time stop, burning tires, wing, water freeze and much more to discover.

With only 60 seconds available to reach the next checkpoint (or level), and a very well managed difficulty, increasing gradually with longer distances to go between checkpoints and more and more enemies and traps, don’t expected to get a high score on your very first attempts. Jump Gear Random needs a bit – if not a lot – of practice to get familiar with the vehicle’s performances and behavior.

But once you get used to it, driving and racing in Jump Gear Random is a truly new exciting experience: physics are great and the jump function and the power-ups add a lot of fun to the game. With a fasted paced music, this game would have had everything to entertain gamers for hours!

Having said that, play your favorite CD or listen to your favorite DJ on radio, watch/play the tutorial and then have a look to the best player race replay. You’re ready to experiment Jump Gear Random. But beware, it is very addictive.

Have fun!

Note: this game was originally posted in August 2006. Jump Gear Random is now hosted on our server, kudos to JP!

Ringmania 2

Categories: Flash, Free, Games, Online, Puzzle, Skill   2 comments - July 9, 2008

Ringmania 2Ringmania 2Ringmania 2 is a puzzle / skill game designed by Jean Philippe Sarda aka JP, the French game developer behind In this game, you control with your mouse a set of black bubbles (magnets) and brown bumpers, connected together by invisible links.

Each level comes with a different set, including some colored rings connected to the black bubbles. When new rings appear during the game, the black bubbles attract them while they bounce on brown bumpers. Floating rings get stuck on black bubbles or on rings already stuck on black bubbles.

The goal of the game is to clear the playfield of all rings by connecting three or more rings of the same color to make them explode.

To add pressure, left and right borders of the playfield get closer each time a ring leave the screen: you must clear each of the 22 stages before you can’t move your set of bubbles.

With a very good physics implementation and a sweet background music, Ringmania 2 becomes quickly addictive.

Having said that, don’t start playing with Ringmania 2 if you just want to relax for a few minute break. But if you are prepared to spend hours playing with rings and magnets, this is the one.

BlockobanBlockobanBLockoban is a new Puzzle game strongly inspired by Sokoban and Cubeoban created by Jean-Philippe Sarda aka JP, the French game developer behind

Your goal in BLockoban is to move different blocks to their corresponding targets. To do so, click a block, hold down your mouse button, drag the block in the desired direction and then release the button. In BLockoban, a block will slide until it is stopped by a wall or another block, and things become challenging very quickly.

BLockoban is hosted at BonusLevel, a brand new site created by JP, Tonypa and Wouter. The aim of BonusLevel is to provide games including each a level editor, so that new levels can be added regularly to maintain interest. New levels are moderated by a team of members, and only the best levels will be added to the games.

Also note that an updated version of CoBaCoLi is available at BonusLevel, with 41 levels to play at the time of writing!

Crazy Mammoths

Categories: Action, Arcade, Flash, Free, Games, Online   1 comment - May 25, 2007

Crazy MammothsCrazy MammothsCrazy Mammoths is the latest game created by JP from Just released a few minutes ago, this small actionarcade game is “a little time waster”, involving four frozen Mammoths in a crazy race.

Just use your spacebar to control your Mammoth (jump) and… voila!

Keep in mind that the friction of the air increases when you lead the race, and it slows your mammoth down. The others racers will try to jump and jump again over you to take the lead. Simply jump at the right time to keep them behind!

Crazy Mammoths includes a championship, very entertaining, and a challenge mode, less exciting. It also includes a 4 players mode, each player using a different key to control his mammoth (ctrl, spacebar, enter and up arrow respectively).

Crazy Mammoths is nicely polished, and the championship mode is very fun to play, but the lack of music is may be not a good point.

“Have you tried to click the Mammoth and the Penguin” in the Main screen, Jp asked? Hum, there is even a bit of Point’n’Clickery in Crazy Mammoths!

CapsulesCapsulesAfter a sixth month hiatus, Jp, the French talented developer from Pepere is back with a brand new skill game, Capsules!

Launched last Friday, Capsules is described by its author as a web 2.0 game, or in other words, a game that “emphasize online collaboration and sharing among users”.

The goal of the game in each stage is simply to collect all the blue spheres with your capsule while avoiding any red obstacles. The faster you complete each level, the higher you score!

Simply click the arrow key in the center of the game window to start playing the official levels (24 at the time of writing, and growing) and then use your mouse to control your capsule.

The game includes an editor to create your own levels: simply register at and share your own creations with the community. The more elegant and challenging ones will be regularly added to the official levels!

Completing each level requires patience and perseverance as well as a bit of luck! And I won’t complain that most of the official levels are frustrating and quite hard: it’s a key part of the gameplay!

If you have 5 minutes to kill, forget Capsules; but if you are looking for a very well designed and innovative game that will sharpen your mouse skills, Capsules is your best choice!

Have fun!

Soccer Challenge

Categories: Flash, Free, Games, Online, Skill    - May 26, 2006

Soccer ChallengeSoccer ChallengeSoccer is a brand new game released a few days ago by the French developer Jp from; this game was designed to celebrate the next soccer world cup which will take place in Germany from june, 9 to july 9.This game includes eight different challenges, each one being a complete small game by itself:

1. “Run Run”: send the different balls onto the right corners and clear the field as fast as possible!
2. “Ability”: send the purple ball onto the purple corner without crossing any white lane as fast as possible!
3. “Goal Keeper”: keep the ball inside the field as long as possible!
4. “Race”: send the red ball onto the red corner as fast as possible!
5. “Run Drunk”: same as “Run Run”, but your player is drunk! Hit the white hand to play normally!
6. “Golden Gates”: keep the ball in the field as long as possible!
7. “Brick Breaker”: remove all bricks by hitting them with your ball as fast as possible!
8. “Invisible”: drive the red ball to the red corner as fast as possible!

Your avatar in every challenge is a French soccer player that is moved and controlled using your mouse. Try to get a high score for every challenge and then submit your overall score. Feel free to play every challenge as many times as you want: Soccer Challenge keeps your best performance in memory for each challenge before submitting your final score!

To be fair, Soccer Challenge is definitely not a game for relaxation! Playing Soccer Challenge and controlling the ball with your avatar needs a lot of practice to get used to. There is no chance you will enter in the hall of fame during a short coffee break!

Having said that, Jp has designed a very addictive game once again, with nice graphics a very good physics implementation. We like this one!

RebondsRebondsRebonds is a simple on-line balls game. It comes with a pool table, including five green balls and a white one. Your goal is to made as many collisions as possible with the balls.

All you have to do first is to find the best angle to shot your white ball using the mouse (thanks to the green arrow), and start watching the ‘ballet’ !

With such a simple game-play, you could easily imagine getting bored just after a couple of attempts : but JP, Rebonds french developer, was smart enough to add these damned high scores scrolling at the bottom of the screen. And it’s such a good idea, because it helps you staying in, trying to find the trick leading to the Hall of Fame !

With nice graphics and well-done physics, Rebonds is fun and you’ll probably come back again later. Have fun!
