Dys-4-ia

Dys-4-ia isn’t really a game but a good tongue in cheek, chuckle from Newgrounds developed by Anna Anthropy.

From the author:

“dys4ia is an autobiographical game about the period in my life when i started hormone replacement therapy.

It’s a story about me, and is certainly not meant to represent the experience of every trans person.”

Time Cfuk

Categories: Flash, Free, Games, Online, Platform, Puzzle   9 comments - September 17, 2009

Time CfukTime CfukTime Cfuk is the latest Puzzle platformer from Edmund McMillen and William Good.

“Its a game about perspective and viewing both sides of the story from afar, its a game about blocks, platforms, drinking, high school reunions and work time fun.

Time Fcku is a “puzzle platformer” about finding logic in irrelevance, its a 1+1=2 formula that will ask more from you after you leave it alone, its a community experience about communication with people who you dont like.

Time KcuF is not an art game, its an allegorical game about stuff you’ve never experienced, its an escape from your current existence, its the feeling of loss and panic.

Time Fcuk is a play on how if one changes around the letters in a word even though it means nothing logically, we all still see it as something that its not.”

Interesting concept…

Daniel McNeely (Armor Games) interview

Categories: Interviews   4 comments - January 8, 2008

www.armorgames.com

Daniel McNeely and his crew are in the process of revamping Armor Games, one of the leading Flash games portals, and he took some time out of his busy schedule to answer a few questions for FreeGamesNews readers (thanks Dan!)

FreeGamesNews: Could you please introduce yourself and tell us a bit about your background?

Daniel: My name is Daniel and I’m the CEO of Armor Games. I went to Biola University where I got a BS in Business and a Bible Minor. I’ve played games my entire life and a few of my favorites are Act Raiser, Ice Climber, Crono Trigger, Secret of Mana, FF3, Anything Mario or Link related, and Halo 3.

FreeGamesNews: could you give us a quick history on Armor Games?

Daniel: Armor Games started in the end of 2005. I being a big gamer, wanted to make a website devoted to great games. Most of these great games came from Newgrounds and not only did I find great games on this site, but great developers. Most of them were friendly and nice, and I got to pay them to develop flash games for AG. We had a handful of hits come out and have been releasing games ever since.
