    using my algebra skills (i had to dig deep for them!) i think figured out the code for the dials:

    Show

    A = 270, B = 180, C = 360, D = 0. the numbers represent the placement of the dials using degrees (i.e. – think of the dials as clocks; 0 is 12:00, 180 is 6:00, 270 is 9:00, and 360 is 12:00).

    remember, this could be a completely wrong guess.

    examine the picture, flip it over, and use the screw driver to remove the paper. make the paper wet, and cover the window.

    if you scroll thru the numbers on the locked box, after the 9, there is a non-digit item. the they read “since + ecnis =”. i think you need to figure out what digits replace each letter, and that creates the 4 digit code to open the box

    Anybody else having problems with clicking on things? Sometimes I go back to something I’ve already tried to click on with nothing happening, and when I try again it works! Show

    The left wardrobe door took about 10 goes before it would open…

    Finally realised, after trying for ages, that I was attempting to open the wrong door! I thought the one with the gold knob was the exit so I was trying to get through the one with the blue design to progress…

    Walkthrough

    Go left once and get knob #1 from bottom closet compartment on the righthand side.

    Show

    Click in the upper right corner of the inside of the compartment and you’ll see a brough switch. Click on it- that unlocks the righthand closet door.

    Go back and open both closet doors. take pole and click to the right of the safe. Get red key

    Show

    Go back and open the lefthand bottom compartment. (make sure the righthand compartment is closed first) Note the clue: A >=270

    Go right and click on the upper part of the game screen. This’ll take you to the bed area (I’ll admit I had trouble with this at first :P )

    Go right. Click on the area between the desk and the wall. Youll get a clue:

    Go back and go right

    Use your red key to open the top drawers (and the other drawers as well–man, the locks in this room are weird)

    Click on the tools until the yellow screwdriver appears on top (you should only have to click one time). Then keep clicking them until a green key appears. (I had to click 5 more times but it could be different)

    Go back and open the second drawer from the top. Notice the box says WENDY

    Click on the blue thing appears. You have acquired knob #2

    Go back and open the bottom drawer. Get pencil and tape

    Combine tape with pole (look at your pole and use the tape with it)

    Go back and click on the upper part of the screen to return to the previous area.

    Go left and you’ll see a painting. Remember that sequence you got from behind/beside the desk? That’s how you’re supposed to click it.

    Order:

    upper left corner
    lower right corner
    upper right corner
    lower left corner
    middle of the painting

    Look at your painting and click around on it until it flips over. Use your screwdriver on it to get paper. (You have to click once more on it after removing the crews to remove the back cover.)

    Use your green key on the door. Enter the bathroom

    Turn on the water in the sink and wet the paper. Also note the code:
    A + B + C + D >=810

    Click on the bottom of the game window to go back out

    Go left and click on the top of the game window to go into the bed area again.

    Go Left and click on the lamp until the bulb part of it is facing towards you. Turn it on. Go left and click on the switch.

    Go left twice and use the screwdriver on the thing holding the window partly shut.

    Look out and use your pole to get knob #3. Click on it in the inventory window to remove it from the pole.

    Go back and close the window. Put wet paper on the window. It gets darker in the room.

    Open the fridge and you’ll get another clue: B X 2 = C

    Go right and note the numbers on the wall. Click them in sequential order. Get blue key from newly revealed secret compartment

    Go left and use blue key in compartment in bed. Get card key.

    Go left twice and turn the light back on (or not; I don’t think you have to but it is easier to see that way)

    Go back to the other area by clicking the top part of the game window

    Go right and open the closet doors again.

    For the safe code I had to go to another site because I’m thick.

    The sign on the building says Since 1963.
    The extra symbols on the code box tell us that Since + Ecnis =
    So 1963 + 3691 is the code.

    Zoom in on the green thing and put the knobs in the empty slots. Keep in mind the clues you got throughout the game:

    A >=270
    A + B + C + D >=810
    B X 2 = C

    Use your key card and them put the knobs like this

    A: 1 notch to the left of 0
    B: 3 notches clockwise from 0
    C: 6 notches from 0
    D: 1 notch to the left of 0

    Get Key and go right. Use key on door. You’re out!

    Just one more thing to add to the walkthrough.

    After you get the Door Key, go back to the desk and open the top drawer. Get the coin from among the tools there before you leave.

    actually, for happy coin Show

    after taking key you need to look out window and see NEWS= coin. use that to get key (not in drawer)

    in case you have trouble Show

    NEWS= north, east, west, south (use on dials)
