   i loved all 2keygames- so far.
   this one is really dumb – in parts- an I’m also missing the real THINKING parts of the former games.

   having trouble getting the stool at the right height!
   it goes up & down but the drum kit doesn’t stick and the chest remains hanging!
   also can’t move the directors chair!

    heres the walkthrough:
    Show

    1. Pick up the piano, the stool, and the saxophone.
    2. Turn right and go forward to the stage. Put the microphones upright, then put the piano next to the right-hand mike, the saxophone leaning against the left end of the piano, and the stool a little to the left of the middle of the stage, near the yellow edge.
    3. Pick up the wire cutters from the stage, under the curtain at the far right. They’re your magic tool for this game.
    4. Go back to the main room and turn to the view with the harp. Zoom in on the picture on the wall.
    5. Get the girl’s shoe, view it, turn it over, and get the foot pedal. Put the shoe back on the girl; you won’t be needing it further.
    6. Use the wire cutters on the guitar strings, and on the maracas hanging from the guy’s belt.
    7. Pick up the maracas, then click the snail behind the guy to zoom in. Use the maracas on the snail, and get the drum feet (the middle antennae). Put the maracas back.
    8. Get the corkscrew from the table and the tripod stand from next to it. Use the wire cutters on the corkscrew to create a T-shaped holder.
    9. Turn to the shelf with all the instruments. Get the guitar and apply the strings to it.
    10. Get the bass drum and the foot pedal. Apply the pedal (the one you just got from the shelf, not the one from the shoe), the legs (from the snail), and the former corkscrew to the drum.
    11. Apply the tripod (the one with the circular part in the middle) to the floor tom-tom drum (the biggest red one).
    12. Pick up the high-hat cymbals (the double set) and the stand from next to the shelf. Apply the cymbals to the stand, then apply the foot pedal (the one from the shoe).
    13. Pick up the other cymbal.
    14. Turn to the view of the door and mirror. Click the hanger on the tripod; keep clicking like mad until it flies off. Get the tripod, and apply the 20″ ride cymbal to the very tip of the shortest arm.
    15. Get the crash cymbal from the shelf, then turn to the stage door and get the tripod. Apply the cymbal to the highest point on the tripod.
    16. Turn back to the harp view. Click the seat of the stool in the corner until it slants up (seat facing toward the window). Use the wire cutters on it and pick up the tripod stand thus created.
    17. Go back to the shelf and pick up the remaining drums. Apply the former stool to the blue snare drum.
    18. Go to the stage. Place the guitar leaning against the left-hand microphone. (There’s a small gray shadow just to the right of the mike. Click there with the guitar selected.)
    19. Select the bass drum and click the rectangular grey spot in the middle of the stage to place the drum. Put the two red drums on the T-shaped thingy, one to either side.
    20. Put the crash cymbal to the left of the bass drum by clicking the tan spot on the stage. The tripod legs should exactly cover the grey spots on the stage.
    21. Put the blue snare drum in between the stool and the crash cymbal, again by clicking the tan spot on the floor.
    22. Put the high-hat cymbals (the double ones, with the pedal) to the left of the stool.
    23. Put the ride cymbal to the right of the bass drum.
    24. Put the floor tom-tom in the last remaining spot, in front of the ride cymbal and to the right of the stool.
    25. If needed, click the seat of the stool to adjust the height; when you get it right, the chest lowers another notch and the drum set becomes fixed in place.
    26. Click the back of the chair (where it says “Director”) to kick it in place by the piano.
    27. Use the wire cutters on the rope, right next to the chest, to cut it down.
    28. Go back to the harp view. Click the highest part of the harp to get it wobbling, then while it’s still moving toward the picture, click the other top corner so it topples into the wall. Once the effect has finished (you can hear the mirror falling), get the key from under the harp.
    29. Use the key to get a silver key from the chest by the stage.
    30. Read the note in the trashcan by the stage door to get the code for the safe. The letters correspond to numbers, with C being 1 and B being 7 (think piano keys). For example, “ACCAGA” means 611656.
    31. Enter the code in the safe, then use the silver key to open it. Get all the stuff from the safe. Use the key in the door; it breaks.
    32. Go back to the stage. Use the remote to move the rope over to the other side. View the money and notice it’s fake. View the violin and notice it’s a Stradivarius. Use the Strad to sweep all the stuff off the stage.
    33. Once it’s down to the mikes and the remains of the stool, put the violin down and tie knots in the mike stands. Throw the fake money toward the dog in the audience (it should scatter all over the stage).
    34. Move the rope back to mid-stage, then click it with the violin. Use the remote to raise the rope, and you’re out.

    Despite the walkthrough thanks @ Juli I get nowhere with this game. It is really too much pixel hunting and every time you click wrong you are getting this silly noise, too. I give it up and congratulate everybody who got through without cursing the developers. ;)

    Can you further explain number 33? how do you tie knots in the mikes and how do you throw the money?

      Make sure you flatten the stool and then you can tie the mikes in knots.
