Trapped Chapter 2 – The Dark is live! According to Rodrigo Roesler, the creator of the Trapped series, this second chapter “is easier than the previous one.

But, at the same time, the puzzles are more elaborated, so they demand bigger chains of thoughts and actions. We kept the non-pixel-hunting politics, and that won’t change, but there are hidden items that need specific actions to be found. So I think (and the tests kind of confirm it) its difficulty level will rely more on the player than the game.”

   Show

   -Get coin, black key in light
   -Get book, sphere, glycerine on table
   -Use lighter on burner
   -Move mirror to small table
   -Look at mirror
   -Get metal bar under long table
   -Move mirror to light
   -Go through right door

   -Get wine, gunpowder on table
   -Go back

   -Use gunpowder on chained door
   -Use lighter on chained door, get chain
   -Go through left door

   -Get compass, jello on small table in front of you
   -Read open book on left table
   -Get lens on back table
   -Get small coin, small key in model house
   -Go through door on far wall (black key used)

   -Attach chain to wheel and brick wall
   -Use metal bar on wheel
   -Go back to first room

   -Compass points to a stone on the wall (light-colored)
   -Use knife to remove stone, get magnet
   -Use lens on table
   -Go back to wheel room

   -Use magnet to remove metal cover
   -Pull lever in hole to turn on water
   -Go back to first room

   -Use metal cover on burner
   -Use wine bottle, glycerine, jello on metal cover (you retain glycerine flask)
   -Go through right door

   -Get wooden plank in water
   -Use flask on water
   -Go back to first room

   -Use water on metal cover to make glue (you again retain flask)
   -Use flask on glue
   -Go back to wheel room

   -Turn off water (lever in hole)
   -Use glue on wheel
   -Use plank on wheel
   -Turn on water
   –(If you haven’t glued the plank to the board, it will be swept away and you’ll have to get it back from where you originally found it; if you’ve done this all right, you’ll rip open the brick wall.)
   -Click on opening in brick wall, Becca will tell you not to go in, go in anyway

   -Click on box on top of cabinets (small key used)
   -Get memo, crystal from box
   -Go back to first room

   -Use crystal on light spot
   -Note the symbols on the wall (write them down or something)
   –(These symbols represent the combination to the locked door in the hospital room, which is behind the brick wall. The rings from out to in represent the 3rd, 2nd, 1st, 4th, and 5th locks, and the white spot is where the lock should point to.)
   -Go back to hospital room (behind brick wall)

   -Use crystal combination to unlock door (when it’s right, the door will automatically open)
   -Go inside, Becky is unconscious
   -Leave the room, go back in, Becky is gone!
   -Go up the ladder

   -You are back in the house (in the “secret room”)
   -Click the trapdoor to close it
   -Click diary, get red key
   -Read diary, the last entry is missing
   -Click red door (red key used)

   -Click woman, she won’t answer
   -Click desk, there is a small well
   -Use small coin on small well to end up in the yard

   -Take pile of wood
   -Click the dog, he’s not doing well
   -Take dead frog on well
   -Use dead frog on rabbit statue
   -Note small hole in wall
   -Go through door into kitchen

   -Get cabbage leaf on table
   -Get slices of meat in fridge
   -Get spoon, pan in cabinet
   -Go through left door (with handle) into hall

   -Get icepick, vodka in bar
   -Get business card in chair
   -Click metal box on table, there is a heart shape on top (see memo)
   -Use spoon on left plant, get coin
   -Go through bottom door to get to hallway, then through right door to get to bathroom

   -Get newspaper behind toilet
   -Use toilet, there’s no water
   -Turn on sink, use pan on sink to fill it
   -Go back to small hallway, then through the one door on far wall to get to living room

   -Get small key on empty table
   -Get bookmark in bookcase
   -Call bank using telephone (phone # on newspaper), they won’t give you a credit card
   -Go back to kitchen

   -Put pan w/water on stove
   -Use wood, vodka, lighter on stove
   -Use cabbage on pan
   -Get cooked cabbage from pan
   -Go back to yard

   -Give cabbage, meat to dog
   -Leave yard, come back
   -Use spoon on crap to get crap key
   -Use icepick on rabbit statue
   -Click door, but before you can leave, there will be a lightning strike…and a ribbit…
   -Get live frog and icepick from rabbit statue
   -Go to hall and click door in front of you (crap key used) to enter dining room

   -In cabinet in front of you is jelly jar
   -In long cabinet at bottom of room is business card
   -In small cabinet at bottom of room (small key used) is coin
   -Go to yard

   -Use 3 coins on well
   –1st coin: fake “THE END” sequence
   –2nd coin: thingamajig (heart piece 1)
   –3rd coin: makes you rich
   -Go to living room

   -Call the bank again
   -This time, you will be (very) promptly sent a card
   -Doorbell rings, go to hall

   -Get envelope on floor, it’s your credit card
   -Go to kitchen

   -Use credit card to open door with no handle
   -Go through that door into pantry

   -Use sphere on battery acid pool to get metal piece (heart piece 3)
   -Go to kitchen

   -Place frog on table, he can’t catch flies
   -Use jelly jar on flies to capture them
   -Take frog from table
   -Go to yard

   -Use jar of flies on small hole
   -Use frog on small hole, he will get a metal piece (heart piece 2)
   -Go to hall

   -Use 3 heart pieces (2 metal pieces and thingamajig) on metal box
   -Get white key
   -Go to small hallway and click bottom door (white key used) to enter bedroom

   -Click on Becky (on bed), big man won’t let you pass
   -Use knife on big man…

   -Get front door key from dead man
   -Exit room…

    i keep restarting, closing, and uploading the window and it keeps getting stuck at 62%! it worked yesterdayy but now it dosen’t!

    It won’t load for me at all. I get a freegamesnews window with a frame inside that tells me the web site is probably experiencing problems (or else I’m not connected to the internet).

    wow, this game must be really popular right now. I have been waiting for a very long time for the game to load, and it’s currently stalled at 80%. I have been looking forward to playing it, so I hope it gets better soon.

    i have all the items but it seem i’m stuck on how to get the magnifying glass and what to do with the mirror and what is the light all about?

    All right, I frequently looked to the comments for answers. Of course, I didn’t see that there already was a walkthrough, so I wrote one too. For people who don’t want to see everything in one spoiler tag:

    1-Show

    Click on the circle of light three times – once to examine it, once to get a coin, once to get a black key.

    2-Show

    Click the mirror twice, once to examine, once to move. Put it next to the small table. Look into it, you see a bar. Click the long table to get everything on it plus the bar under it. Take the mirror again and put it on the circle of light.

    3-Show

    Use your lighter on the bunsen burner to light it.

    4-Show

    Go into the right door, get the wine and the gun-powder. In the hole is something you can’t reach.

    5-Show

    Use the gunpowder and lighter on the second door, take the chain.

    6-Show

    In the new room, get the compass, jelly-o and magnifying class. Click the model of the house a few times to get the coin and the key. You can read the book if you want but instructions will follow.

    -7Show

    Go back to the room you started in. The compass will act up. Go to where it points, there’s a stone with a lighter colour. Use the knife on it to get a magnet. While you’re here, put the magnifying glass on the small table.

    -8Show

    Go through the door in the room with the model (the key for it was in the circle of light). Use your chain on the watermill and on the red brick wall. Use the magnet on the metal cover, then click on the hole twice to pull the lever which makes the water run.

    -9Show

    Go back to the first room, use the metal cover on the bunsen burner. Use the wine, jelly-o and glycerine on the metal cover.

    -10Show

    Go into the right room, get the plank.

    -11Show

    Go back to the water mill, fill the glycerine bottle with water.

    -12Show

    In the first room, use the water on the metal cover, then again to fill the flask with glue.

    -13Show

    Turn off the water for a moment, use the board on the watermill, and the metal bar that you retrieved from under the table earlier. Use the glue on the watermill, turn on the water. The wall will break. You can now go in.

    You get a cutscene of becca telling you not to go in there. If you listen you won’t finish the game ;)

    -15Show

    Go in. Open the safe with the small key from the model. Get out the memo and the crystal. The memo is not important. You can also inspect Becca’s drawings to get some more insight into the game.

    In the first room, use the crystal on the magnifying glass. Inspect the image on the wall.There are five concentric circles with lines going through them. The vertical line at the top is zero, the next on on the right is one, and so on. Take note of where the white rectangles are. This changes for every game.

    -17Show

    Go back to the hospital bed, click on the second door, with the code. Next to where you have to fill in the numbers are circles. The smallest circle needs the number of the innermost concentric circle from the projection, and so on. When you unlock the door, you come in a hospital room with Becky in a bed. Go out and back in, she is gone. Go up the ladder.

    You end up in the secret room. Close the wooden board to get a red key and read the diary. It’s the same one as in the first episode, except the last entry is missing. Go through the red door.

    On the desk is part of the model from below. Use the small coin in it to leave the room. You end up in the garden.

    Take the pile of wood next to you. Take the dead frog at the well. Use your coin on the well. No, the game is not over. Use the dead frog on the rabbit statue.

    Go into the kitchen. Click on the cabbage to get a cabbage leaf. In the fridge is some meat. In the cupboard are a spoon and a cooking pot.

    -22Show

    Go into the hall, use the spoon on the left plant by the door. Get the icepick and the bottle of vodka from the bar.

    Go into the bathroom, use the cooking pot on the sink. Use the toilet, you’ll get a newspaper.

    -24Show

    In the living room, you’ll find a small key in the farthest seat. There’s also a telephone.
    -25[spoiler]Go back to the kitchen, use the wood on the stove, then the vodka, then light it. Put the cooking pot with water on it. Cook the cabbage leaf.

    -26Show

    Go out, give the cabbage leaf to Mr. Bubbles. You’ll leave it in the bowl. Give the dog the meat. It’ll eat the mixed cabbage and meat. Go in, then back out. Use the spoon on the dirt next to the well. You’ll get a key. Use the coin you have on the well to get a thingamajig.

    -27Show

    Go into the dining room with the key. Search the drawers, from one you’ll get a jar, from the other a coin.

    -28Show

    In the kitchen, use the jar on the flies. Go outside, use the jar with flies on the hole in the wall. Use the icepick on the rabbit statue. Try to go inside. The frog will come to life. Use the frog on the hole in the wall to get the second piece of the heart. Use the final coin on the well.

    Go inside to the living room. Telephone the bank, the number can be found on your newspaper. They’ll send you a credit card.

    -30Show

    In the kitchen, use the credit card on the door without the handle. Use the concrete sphere on the acid. You’ll get the third piece of the heart.

    -31Show

    In the hall, use the three pieces of the heart on the metal object on the table. It’ll disappear and you will get a white key.

    -32Show

    Use the white key on the left door, the one you can see completely when standing in the hallway. You get into a room with a man and a girl. Use the knife on the man. You’ll get a cutscene. When it’s over, search the man. You’ll get the front door key. Leave the room…

    Game over ;)

    had trouble realizing you had to turn away from the mirror (duh!) to get bar under table – after that went much better

I lol at the results from calling the other numbers – two business cards and the lock pick man from the paper – regret missing that there was a number on the bookmark, too. What was it – does anyone know, and did they call it? What happened? Hate to replay whole game to find out.

    No one mentioned the Dark Coin….it is a useless item so I wont hide how to get it. In third room of basement (with books and compass) you must burn the empty book. Then you search the ashes and get Dark Coin!
